I have been placed on this medication for the treatment of high blood pressure, I'm OK with it, and I accept why I have to take it, but what I do not understand is why have I begun to sweat more? Is this one of its side effect? ## Yes, that is something that most blood pressure medications can cause and being on them myself, I understand how annoying it can be. I've found that the clinical strength deodorants really help, although they are most expensive. It can be a very rare side effect of the Lisinopril and you may need to switch to a different medication, in order for the problem to rectify itself. I have been on this med for 3 months and has seemed to have dramatically lowered my BP. For 2.5 mos, however, I have developed a nasty mucous producing cough which occurs often all through the day and night. Dr. began treating fro bronchitis, and decided after it was a sinus infection, so treated for that. Not until I began poking around looking for lisionp side effects, did I see that coughs are a major complaint. Is this what we pay the drs for? Anyways, this is the closest match I found based on the description provided. What is the marking on the pill, my Dr prescribed this medication to me, this first pill I received was a blue round with WATSON 861 on it. Later 4 months later my Dr prescribed the same medication but taking two pill a day instead of one. Hello, a few days ago I went to the ER because my BP was extremely high, 208/110. I believe this because I have gained about 30 lbs and have not been eating very healthy lately. I am 39 years old and I was not currently on any blood pressure medication but I have been in the past. I was off about a year. The ER was able to get my BP down and the Dr. gave me a prescription for Lisinopril HCTz 20/12.5 I have been on this in the past but a lower dosage. I have only been on this meds for 2 days and it does lower my BP but it is too low. This morning it was 108/77. I feel very weak with no energy, sleepy, and somewhat depressed.
