I have been advised to take levotiz for sore throat ## Levotiz contains the active ingredient Levocetirizine, which is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergies and, as such, it's not going to do much for a sore throat, unless it's been caused by allergies that have caused nasal drip that irritated the throat. Here's a link where you can read more Levocetirizine details. Who advised you to take it for a sore throat?

Have you had surgery to remove one or more of the parathyroids. You have a total of 4 parathyroids and one or more could have turned into benign tumors (adenomas). If you're still having symptoms then there is still something wrong.

Why can"t I eat an hour before an after I take my medication ? Levothyroxin 50 MCG ## Hi Trudi, According to Livestrong.com, "consumption of levothyroxine with certain foods can significantly reduce its absorption. Thyroid hormones levels will be decreased if you take your medication with foods such as soybean flour, cotton seed meal, walnuts, dietary fiber, calcium or calcium fortified juices. These foods should be avoided within several hours of taking your medication. In addition, thyroid hormone levels may be increased if you fast while on this medication. To avoid such fluctuations, levothyroxine should be administered on a consistent schedule, with regard to time of day and relation to meals." I also know from personal experience that some medications can cause nausea/...

im on 50mg of levotyroxine still feel like crap, still heavy, will it all change ## How long have you been taking it? Most medications require 4 to 6 weeks to reach their full effectiveness in the body and not all of them work for everyone that tries them, thus there is really no way to say whether or not this will change for you. You can usually tell, when you've hit this point, because that is also when any side effects you're experiencing will be most severe, such as nausea, drowsiness and dizziness, then they will start to taper off in severity. Have you consulted your doctor?
