Levipil Side Effects

i am using Valprole 300 from last 16 years. I feel my weight is increase and became steady at 63 to 65 kg and always feel sleepy. But after using 16 years suddenly i feel some heavy sharp pain in my upper side of Stomach and hair loss and after diagnosis it found that i have some stone in my GalBalder, stone removed but doctor advised me to stop my medicine Valprole and they suggest me levipil but starting levipil at present I have disgusted problem because its effecting my liver and I am continue in the cage of jaundice. Pl. suggest me what i do ## I am using zeptol cr 300 3 tablet and levipil 750 MG 2 tablet a day for past 15 years but unable get rid of epilepsy kindly suggest alternate

For the last 6 years I am on epilex chrono 800 mg and folic acid 10 mg and from the past 2 month I am on epilex chrono 600 mg and levipil 500 mg and folic acide 10 mg and I have not receive any seizures but I am not able to understand whether due to the medicine or anything else my anger is increased and lost my patience and my diet decreased and i am irritated also etc. ## Epilex Chrono contains the active ingredients Sodium Valproate and Valproic Acid, which is used to help control seizures and as a mood stabilizer. I'm taking Levipil 500 XR tablet after my dinner since last week.my neurologist suggested me to switch to Levipil from Torleva 250 mg.But after taking Levipil,I'm feeling some weakness in my left hand.I want to know is it a side effect of Levipil? ## there are many side effects of levipil..like weakness, shivering, diziness or headche. i am too suffering from it..otherwise this medicine is amazing.

I am taking Levipil 750 since 2 years.I am always feeling drowsy,get angry immediately,forget things,don't feel hungry ,and loss of hair also.Are these the sympoms of this medicine.I am also taking Encorate Chrono 300 with it. ## My father, Mr. Kanchan Datta, an epilepsy patient is taking LEVIPIL750 and tetrafol plus for last 9 months. Can he continue tetrafol plus with LEVIPIL750? Actually doctor which we prescribed told him to continue it for 3 months. But my father, Kanchan Datta wants it to continue more. Is he doing correct? i have considerable head ache on night even after taking levipil on night. i am an epileptic patient for 2 years taing levipil and oxcarazepine. ## Have you had an recent seizures? This medication can cause headaches as a side effect, according to NIH reports, along with nausea, dizziness, mood swings, and weight changes, but so can epilepsy and seizures. Are you on any other medications, or just these ones? How long have you been taking them?

I am on levipil 500 for the last 7 years for my seizures and I have had my left hand quite week .I also feel very tensioned when I am working at work.I work as an aircraft engineer for the past 15 years.I am taking some herbal medication and the levipil 500 currently for the last 2 years and it has help a lot to reduce on my seizures . My son has been taking valperine for the last 3 yrs and since february he has also been taking levipil 250 in the morning and 500 in the night. He is below weight. He cant read and write properly. My age is 58 and due to some problem in head consulted the neuro physician and he subscribed the above medicine and Levipil - 3 times a day and Lobazam 5 -1.5 tab at night and Pramipex ER 75 1 at night.
