sir i am 21 year old nd i am taking levil 250 from last 2 years....but i am not feeling fresh at all.actually what happened is that in 2010 just for fun i jumtped in one of the wave in water nd i got drowned doctor suggested me to take levipil 250 twice in morning and at night now there are lots of tremors in my whole body is this becoz of levipil plz suggest me wat to.do. told my neurologist abt this he told me that it happens nd told me to continue levipil ...

Since 2012 i was taking gardinal 60 mg HS,now doctor changed my medicine from gardinal to levipil 250 mg because i want to take another medicine of hepatitis -c which have sofosbuvir as chemical compound, so can i take gardinal and levipal both till the doctor stop gardinal and continued the levipil for the whole life? ...

i have considerable head ache on night even after taking levipil on night. i am an epileptic patient for 2 years taing levipil and oxcarazepine. ## Have you had an recent seizures? This medication can cause headaches as a side effect, according to NIH reports, along with nausea, dizziness, mood swings, and weight changes, but so can epilepsy and seizures. Are you on any other medications, or just these ones? How long have you been taking them? ...

My daughter had a seizure 5 months back and was put on 750mg plus 750mg dosage which was reduced to 500 and 500 on expert advice.i have reduced it to 250 and 500.is reduction too sharp ...

i m taking levipil 250 nd my neurologist suggested me to take levipil250 for 2 weeks and then start a levipil 500 for 2 weeks and after taking these tablets he suggested me to continue start levipil 750 for a long time( atleast 2 to 3 years ).some people says levipil will gives a lot of fat on your body, i plz tell me what are the sidi effects of levipil. ## Levipil contains the active ingredient Levetiracetam, it is an antiseizure medication and the side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, weakness and loss of appetite. Hi, my son is 8 yrs old and he had seizure attack 2 time in Jan 2015 and Nov 2016 and he is taking medicine levipil 500 mg, but before his second attack he had taken 250 mg, then doctor increased it as 500mg, could you please tell me. How long this medicine will run or when we will get rid of this medicine. almost 2 years completed ## If he has epilepsy, he may need to take this medication, or another one for the rest of his life to help prevent dangerous seizures. There is nothing wrong with it, so he should take it, as long as his doctor deems it safe for him to do so. I'm taking Levipil 500 XR tablet after my dinner since last week.my neurologist suggested me to switch to Levipil from Torleva 250 mg.But after taking Levipil,I'm feeling some weakness in my left hand.I want to know is it a side effect of Levipil? ## there are many side effects of levipil..like weakness, shivering, diziness or headche. i am too suffering from it..otherwise this medicine is amazing. ...

My son 10yrs old had a single and first episode of a possible seizure on 3rd oct 2014. His eeg (4 oct) and 11 nov are normal. MRI brain plain 4 OCT and MRI brain 31 jan 2015 are normal. He is absolutely normal and healthy, no problem in coordination, plays normally, takes good diet. Yet, doctor has prescribed levipil 250 BD for 7 days and then 500 BD after 7 days. I have not started him on this drug. Please advise, if I should start him on this drug. ## Hello Sir, My son is having the same problem that i read in your post. My son has been taking valperine for the last 3 yrs and since february he has also been taking levipil 250 in the morning and 500 in the night. He is below weight. He cant read and write properly. He is not in the grade level but his IQ is at an average level. Is this because of drugs? Pls advise me. ## Unfortunately, only his doctor can really give you an answer on that. How old is he? Hi my doctor has prescribed me levipil 250 and tegrital 200, as i have the problem of Seizure. Next year i am going to USA or Germany for further studies. Will i be allowed to carry 1 year dose of these tablets with me to USA? If not, then what should i do? The trade names of the tablets are different in different countries. ## I am not sure of the laws in Germany, however regarding the U.S. you can bring in up to 3 months worth, under current FDA guidelines. Beyond that, you will need to see a doctor here and have them write new prescriptions. Can anyone familiar with the laws of Germany chime in? Thanks! ...

I am 69 years old. I am 6 feet, 8 inches tall. But, my body weight is below 45 Kg. now I had fits of epilepsy in the night on 6th October 2010. It repeated twice that night. Now I am taking Levipil 250mg (Levitiracetum) daily as advised by a neurologist. Now the dose has been reduced to 1 tab on alternate days. Fits never repeated till now. I have Hypothyroidism also. For that I am taking Thyroxin 50 mg. I have irritable bowel syndrome. Usually I have loose motion twice or thrice a day. Will you please suggest a remedy for the above mentioned problems? ...

my son who is 9 years old had an unprovoked seizure and docotors who attended him took an EEG and MRI Scan and suggested that MRI scan is normal and In EEG mild effect was seen and in MRI No epilepsy was found. He suggested to take Levipil 250 at night and after one and half months , my son had one more seizure and doctors suggested levipil 250 one in the morning and one in the night. pleasse let me know whether there is any side effect of the drug which may cause drowziness and weakness in the body or any other side effects. Please let me know by taking this drug whether the problem which my son is facing can be cured or not. ...
