I have been in pain for 10 yrs and under the care of a Dr.My msin concern is the new kvk generic 20mg oxycodone .It feels like its eating the lining of my stomach.I eat well gollow my diet and keep to my meds and dont over abuse them.I work and function just like everyone else.Reafing the compounds in the meds makes sense to why my stomach feels like I have cancer.Van we tske the sodium out of it,Ive been on other brands and never had this horrible feeling and yes Ive doubled up on another nrand and have bern fine..Please look into this Od tather go without and thats like chewing on nails ## Hello, Jennamac! They do not work and I get extra headaches from this pill/brand. I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS with Mallinckrodt but these suck. ## @jojo, Sorry to hear about your troubling experience with KVK Tech. According to a number of threads I’ve seen here on this site, KVK Tech is being widely regarded as one those Oxycodone manufacturers that people should steer clear of, since their tablets aren’t providing anywhere near the amount of relief as other brands/generics. However, if Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals is what works best for you, I would just encourage you to ask your doctor to specifically write that down on your prescription, based on it’s proven track record to help manage your level of pain. These pills are poisonous beware. I've taken oxycodone 20 mg from manufacturer Rhodes, Purdue company for 4 year's. Last month I got KVK-TECH from Sam's Club. The do NOT KILL PAIN AT ALL..... they give you a real euphoric feeling for 10 minutes but absolutely no pain relief. July 2016 was the worst month of my life for my chronic pain. Regarding KVK Tech oxycodone 30mg / K-9...Garbage! I have serious pain from two separate problems. Bottom line is Walgreens switched from Activis to KVK recently and I noticed the difference within one day, pain waking me more than usual and early withdrawal sensations. I should add that I don't misuse or abuse, all I want is pain relief. Or immediate release? ## There are no generic formulations available of Oxycontin, there are only generics available of the instant release and the regular release. Additionally, the instant release is only available in 5mg capsules. I was taking activis 30mg IR for a long time. It worked really well on pain with minimal narcotic effect. Now they only have KVK brand oxycodone. This is by far the worst medication for pain I have ever had. It has a strong long lasting narcotic effect with no pain relief at all. I'm taking it back to my Dr and getting a new perscription. Hey how's it going to all you guys I have been doing a little bit of reading and I just had some simple questions that I hope you guys can help me with. I currently for my 22nd birthday was diagnosed with stage 4 T-cell lymphoma I have been on a variety of different medications but I for the last six months have been prescribed 10 milligram oxycodone with that being said I just got my refill yesterday and I got it filled at Rite Aid instead of my normal Place Costco. I've been on 30mg oxycodone for 10years one month I filled my RX & they were a different brand, they were KVT Tech. The entire month I had no pain relief! I was in so much pain! The next month I got actavis the brand I've always taken & it was night & day! A complete difference I finally got pain relief! My pharmacy just refilled my oxycodone 30mg Rx with kvk tech instead of Caraco mfg. They look the same and have the same 224 imprint. I bounce between two Wal-Mart pharmacy's (a few miles apart). My regular Wal-Mart pharmacy has not had my prescription of OxyCODONE more than three times in the past 36 mounts (3 years) It seems to be very lazy pharmacy employees. These two of three (all three) Wal-Marts in my city, dispense different medications for the same prescription. I cannot get a straight answer from any of their employees why they dispense different medications from the same pharmacy group. I believe the KVK activate quickly but do not last as long as the RHO. The RHO seem to work a little longer but not as strong. Beside constipation, side effects are small. But I am running into problems as the medications are not working for a long.
