I've had insomnia for twenty years and i finally take a stand.but it's so hard getting a Neurologist appointment.i need help ## Hello, Frederick! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having. Do you practice good sleep hygiene? That's what virtually any doctor is going to want to you to do for awhile, before you resort to medications. Things that are considered necessary for good sleep hygiene include: *Avoiding napping during the day. *Avoid stimulants, such as alcohol, caffeine and nicotine close to bed time. *Get lots of exercise. *Stay away from large meals, before sleeping. *Ensure adequate exposure to natural light to help condition your body clock. *Establish a regular, relaxing bedtime routine. *Associate your bed with sleep, not TV, reading, s...

I knocked about 2 weeks worth of dilaudid down my sink by accident when I was brushing my teeth yesterday morning. I saved 4 pills. I take 4mg-4x per day and was switched last month from morphine to fentanyl 25mcg patches every 72 hours. I have been on the dilaudid for 5 months. I'm very concerned about the withdrawal I'm going to go thru without my meds. Do you think the patch and a few leftover morphine pills from last month will help my situation? Will they make the withdrawal go away faster? I also have 2 subutex pills that are older. Should I take the subs or will they put me in a precipitated withdrawal with the patches? I don't see my doctor for 13 days. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Please help. ## Please be careful with the fentanyl. I'm going thru so...

A generic gravol that can knock you out ## Hello, James! How are you? The manufacturer lists this product as containing Dimenhydrinate, which is an antihistamine that's used to help with insomnia, and motion sickness. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, chills, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

White NORCO 539.. is that the real deal or just a knock off.. and also heard that now company's are going to make it to when u break on in 1/2 a chemical reaction takes the Codien out of it. Not that I care but is that possible? ## Hello, TX84! How are you? Yes, this is the name brand, so it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Thus, it does not contain codeine and I don't know anything about the formula being changed, sorry. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The Reply was almost confusing on the second part lol Could you be a little more better please. Im not sure if that was in pa...

I believe some drug stores are selling knockoff drugs, Watson 853..It seems we are going to have to find a chemist to evaluate our medicines and catch these crooked drug stores..You should always count your pain medicine before you leave the drug store..It seems someone is stealing pain meds..I caught a major drug store chain stealing 20 of my pills. If it ever happens again I am calling the police. I want someone charged..You do not miscount 20 pills..By the way some medicine out of China are sheet rock..It looks like a white pain pill. ## Sheet Rock? did you have it analyzed? Is it chalky and oval? ## @Nick, I see that you're describing two separate issues here; one being knock-off drugs (sheet rock) you received and the other being that someone stole your meds - Did they steal yo...

Hi I recently ordered xanax and recieved warnax-1. They knocked me out instead of just taking the edge off of an anxiety attack. I'm interested in any experiences anyone else has had. ## i felt very relaxed! and did not get knocked out at all, same with the bars id take once a week. hope this helps. ## @Jbug, If you're interested in reading more experiences with Warnax, there are a few comments in another thread here that might also be worth checking out at: Discuss/WARNAX-1-anyone-ever-heard-of-such-a-thing-290171.htm I personally haven't seen a whole lot of feedback on these particular pills other than what is mentioned here and in the link above. Some people say they work while other reviews suggest they don't. My assumption based on what I've read is that they ar...

I need a picture I have taken this pill and it knocked the pain of bursidies out fast I would like to get it from my dr. ## Hello, Betty! How are you? I'm sorry, but there are a lot of little blue pills on the market, both prescription tablets and many over the counter, thus this isn't enough information for me to be able to tell you what it was. Do you remember anything else about it, such as the markings on it? Have you checked with your pharmacy? If it was prescribed for you within the past couple of years, they should be able to look it up in your records.

Does anyone know whether the thick R 039 yellow bars are real? Knockoffs? Does anyone thinkthey have any value. They have a cheap looking score, too. ## it's real just a generic form ## @Wilhed, Just to confirm, the yellow bars marked R|0|3|9, are in fact legitimate generic 2mg Alprazolam tablets, manufactured by Actavis. For your own verification, these particular bars are reported to be approximately 14.00 mm in size and should carry a National Drug Code of 00228-2039. Having said that, you shouldn't have to worry about it being fake at all, unless you didn't get it from your doctor with a valid prescription. I hope this helps! ## I'm having same question ## I took one yellow bar and then a half of one and still nothing. How long does it take to kick in? ## I got a hol...

A friend got rolled up on while knocking on a door, he has a warrant... hides his diabetic aparatus under the door mat.. I go on a recon mission to extract the payload and destroy before a nice old lady sweeps the porch and calls 27 family members over for an intervention.. Also, theres concern of latent prints on the preloaded aparati.. sounds exciting so I volunteer for the mission.. like a swiss watch< I should have been a S.E.A.L.. after securing the payload, I begin to think.. Well if this fiend was whipping around with loaded hollow points, then he very likely, based on my past tours of duty, and personal knowledge of the "the needle and the damage done", was very likely concealing more bullets.. I started 6weeks ago, for anxiety and depression. Just 5 mg knocked me flat, but after a week i was on 10 mg and able to get out of bed. After another week things had improved all round, and by three weeks i was feeling good, actually happy. I had agreed to stay on this drug for a year or so, but got really pissed off that it prevented me from ever having orgasms, so decided to quit without asking my dr....too embarrassing to explain. Am phasing it out very slowly now because of scary stories, had a couple of bad headaches and brain zaps, but so far better than getting onto it! Will drop from 5 mg to 2.5 for a week next. It sure helped me, but this is all too much drama, next time i will pop a couple of valium rather! ## Don't go off of it my friend without Dr. advice. I was on 10mg...

I take Trazodone, its not a narcotic but its like a Seroquel and it knocks you out. When i wake up in middle of the night to go to the restroom i have to lean my head on the wall very strong just like Seroquels. So its like a narcotic but beware don't take it every day cause it will have you sleepy if you miss a day of taking it. ## From what I could gather, Pliva 434 does indeed contain the active ingredient Trazodone (100 mg). For verification, this pill is manufactured by Teva and carries a National Drug Code of 50111-0434. Trazodone belongs to a class of drugs called phenylpiperazine and is not categorized as a narcotic medication. However I do find it interesting that it's an antidepressant with multiple use-cases such as insomnia. It should also be noted that "unusual ...

How much should an injection of this stuff cost in a hospital environment? They knocked me out for 5 minutes for a failed cardioversion and charged > $2k for the Brevital! ## Breavital contains Methohexital sodium, it is a short acting anesthetic. As to how much it should cost, that is entirely up to the hospital. There is no hard and fast rule that says any drug should only cost a certain amount. Each hospital has its own formula, that starts with how much they pay for their supply, broken down by dosages. On top of that, other costs are factored in, such as the syringe, the surrounding medical care, the cost of the salary of the person for the time they had to take to give it to you and etc. All of these factors can add up, really fast, to very high amounts for medications adminis...

For many years, Fiorinal with Codeine "Brand" capsules knocked out your headache with no side affects and allowed you to be productive. Since the last year or so since Watson became "Activis", this drug is not the same. They don't work as well, do not knock out the headache. I've heard it might be the "fillers", or maybe they are not making them strong enough. I imagine the generic form are not as good also. It is a shame that we sufferers have to deal with this. If you call Watson Activis, they tell you "nothing has changed". ????? ## It has been a week since I am taking the Fiorinal with Codeine "generic" made by Watson Manufacturer. I was out shoveling with my daughter and slipped on the driveway and knocked into her, she slipped and the shovel fell, bumping me in the head. Do you think that I need to call the doc or even worry about it? ## Definitely pay attention to how you are feeling, the body is really good at telling you most of the time. You might also want to ensure that you don't have a concussion. The following are some things to look out for: "The signs and symptoms of a concussion can be subtle and may not appear immediately. Symptoms can last for days, weeks or longer. The two most common concussion symptoms are confusion and amnesia. Hello, I take .6 ml methotrexate weekly plus plaquenil and sulfasalazine. I've been completely knocked out with a head/chest cold for the past three days. Now my fever is down; can I go back to work tomorrow or will I just did myself in deeper? Any advice would be appreciated. ## FROM PAST EXPERIENCE, IT USUALLY RECOMMENDED NOT TO RESUME NORMAL ACTIVITY UNTIL A FEVER IS GONE FOR 24 HOURS. ## @Bratbaby, I agree with the previous comment, in that you should probably wait it out until you've fully recovered from the fever and/or whatever cold symptoms you might still have. At this point your immune system has to take time to build itself back up again through getting plenty of rest, proper nutrition, and not stressing out about anything. Methotrexate on the other hand, is known for...

Does this thin blood like aspirin, Ibuprofen? Is it safe to take this prior to surgery to knock a sinus infection? ## Sulfamethoxazole Tmp Ds itself is not a blood thinner, although it does have a warning label stating it's interaction with other blood thinners. As far as pre-operative doses go, this is probably something that should be discussed with the surgeon, since every surgeon has their own unique pre and post operative instructions. Odds are it is probably fine, as it is an antibiotic and doesn't thin blood; but just to be sure I would double check with his personal instructions. You can view a detailed description of the drug by clicking on the link below... I hope this helps!

I had my teeth pulled I'd say about a year ago. Is my teva 3109 still good? I fell in the Shower and knocked out my Front Tooth. I need to take antibiotics. It's the Holiday so the Dentist is not open today. ## Hello, Lynnette! How are you? I'm sorry about happened. However, knocking out a tooth does not necessarily mean that an antibiotic is required. As detailed by the NIH, an antibiotic is only required, in the even of an actual infection, or if there is a very high risk of one occurring, such as with certain types of surgery. Taking an antibiotic, when it is not appropriate could result in your developing antibiotic resistance, and that could create life-threatening problems in the future. It would be best to wait, until you can see your doctor or dentist, so they can pr...
