Could this cream cause a scaly red rash that itches if using too much? ## Hi Madonna, Concerning side effects, The US National Library of Medicine (also known as NIH.gov) lists skin rashes/itchy/red/blistering/peeling/ or otherwise as potential symptoms and/or allergic reactions relating to all of the medications listed above, except for Baclofen. So just to clarify, this includes Ketoprofen (Keto) + Cyclobenzprine (Cyclo) + Lidocaine (Lido). And this isn't necessary in regards to using too much, but just happen to be side effects in general. NIH goes on to state that you should contact your doctor immediately if you do experience these symptoms. I hope this helps answer your question!

have tried everything for post-herpatic neurapthy and nothing is working. any suggestions? ## The MayoClinic states that "there's currently no cure for postherpetic neuralgia, but there are treatment options to ease symptoms. For most people, postherpetic neuralgia improves over time." In my own honest opinion, anything can be cured over time. They said cancer couldn't be cured. They said diabetes couldn't be cured; and I'm sure plenty other diseases as well. But each of those have been cured and even reversed by numerous amounts of people who chose not to buy in to the negative beliefs. If I were in your shoes, using the knowledge I have, I would take on a primarily raw vegan diet that is high in fresh fruit, dark leafy greens, seeds & nuts, and maybe even s...

I have pain in my left knee and the pain causes my knee to buckle. It swells up and I limp. ## Hello, Sandy! How are you doing? Sorry about the problem that you're having. Would like to order some of this cream ## Hello, Carla! How are you? I'm sorry, but this website does not manufacture, prescribe nor sell anything, it is an information only website. Additionally, this cream requires a doctor's prescription and must be made by a specialty compounding pharmacy to the doctor's dosage directions. Has your doctor prescribe this for you? ## Does this cream come up bad if my work checks me? ## I have Diclofenac 10% in PLO cream mixed. I've have the cream for two years and am wondering if it has an expiry date? ## Does this cream have any type of drugs that will be positive in a U/A or swab...? ## I was prescribed a similar cream, without the gabo, but it came with tubes of lidocaine and prilocaine. I was wondering what the compounds were? This...

I'm cleaning out my medicine cabinet and came across this old RX (cream). It doesn't say what it is for. Can ypu tell me what this RX is used for? ## Hi Suzanne, Based on my research, I believe the abbreviations you mentioned are supposed to correspond with the following list of medications: Ketoprofen (Keto), Baclofen (Baclo), Cyclobenzprine (Cyclo), and Lidocaine (Lido) Apparently the cream itself is meant to be used for inflammation and pain. However, I am unsure of what "Flurb" is supposed to stand for. Do you have any other clues as to what this particular ingredient may be? ## Flurbiprofen is a NSAID that has been available since 1988. It is rarely prescribed in oral form as it has been known to cause spikes or fluctuations in blood pressure and reduces the effecti...

Does this have an expiration date? ## Hello, Jack! Is it a cream or an ointment? They do have expiration dates, but not the same for all. So, can you please post back with this additional information? Thanks! ## Does anyone know if your prescriptions consistencies change the effect of the drug. My first bottle was the consistency more like Vaseline. Now my second bottle is more like creamy lotion. Other than that this seems to help with my severe back and neck pain.

Can this topical cream affect your sleeping cycle??? Can it make you sleep a heavy sleep? ## Hello, JoAnn! How are you? No, it shouldn't. The medications may cause drowsiness as side effects, but you only absorb a little of them, when using them topically, so it shouldn't cause a deep, heavy sleep. For that to happen, someone would basically have to almost bathe in it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks so much. Can it be addictive? ## Hello, I just received a topical Cream Keta/Cyclo/GABA/Lido (10%/2%/6%/3.5%). I was told to put it in all places where I am experiencing pain and on the bottle it says: Apply 3 times daily for pain and/or muscle spasms as needed. *** PLEASE HELP ANYONE!!! *** I suffer from extreme nerve pain in my back. It affects the left side more...

My Dr. proscripted the above for shoulder pain, can yoou tell me what in it and any side effacts they may have ## Hello, Willmay! How are you? Since this is topical, it doesn't usually cause a lot of side effects, because you absorb very little of the medications, but you may experience some skin irritation at the application site. Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with pain, both Baclofen and Cyclobenzaprine are muscle relaxants and Lidocaine is a topical anesthetic. I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what the Aman stands for, is anyone else familiar with? ## Amantadine is the "aman" medication you're looking for. Though mostly a Parkinson's medication is has also been found to help with ...

I had tried so many different types of cure for my feet which t time really stings. I even was on the prescription LYRICA. Almost for four / five months, got concerned if you read the side effects, and till it did not work. ## Hello, Luggage3! How are you? Is it a nerve pain issue? This cream generally isn't known to cause a lot of side effects, since you don't absorb much of it, as listed by the FDA, skin irritation, redness and dryness are typically the most common ones experienced. What else have you tried? ## Presently using "Reliaderm" presented to me by my Podiatrist. He had given me a small sample, over the counter. Not in drug stores, order by mail. I recently got keto/lido/cycl cream that was prescribed to me because a year ago I got whiplash from a car accident and it still hasn't gone away. I was wondering whether or not I could use the cream with a heating pad as for I use the pad alot? The cream is exactly 10% ketoprofen 6G, 4% lidocaine 2.4G, and 1% cyclobenzaprine 0.6G. I would very much appreciate anyone who could answer me. Thank you! ## Hi Jessica, thank you for bearing with me as I did not have a chance to reply back to your other thread. Because there is Lidocaine in the cream I would avoid using a heating pad unless you can get an okay from your doc or the compounding pharmacist. I read on a page from drugs.com about the Lidoderm patch (which is basically another topical form of Lidocaine, but administered through ...

Hi, I just received this cream from my pain management doctor. I have had 2 LS surgeries for severely sequestered discs, severe radiating pain and peroneal nerve decompression. Continued pain/numbness in my R leg due to radiculopathy. I take 3000mg of Gralise (gababentin) - Yes, you read correctly! I take 5x the amount of Gralise to decrease the nerve pain in my leg. Do you think there is hope with this topical cream? ## Hi Jennifer, The cream you're describing containing baclofen + cyclobenzaprine + gabapentin + ketoprofen + lidocaine, is reportedly prescribed as a topical pain reliever. However medications like this can and often do affect each person differently, whereas it's possible that you may receive more benefits from it than others or vise versa, depending on the sever...

Can anyone tell me the prescription trade name for a cream containing baclofen 20 mg, ketoprofen 150(?), and lidocaine 50 mg? ## From my own investigation, pain creams that contain these types of ingredients are formulated in compound pharmacies and therefore do not have a trade name like many other topical prescriptions. These are just generic topical formulas that can vary in ingredients with anything from what's listed below, to other combinations that I have not included here: -Baclofen, Ketoprofen, Lidocaine -Baclofen Gabapentin, Ketoprofen, Lidocaine -Baclofen, Cyclobenzaprine, Ketoprofen, Lidocaine -Baclofen Gabapentin, Ketoprofen, Lidocaine, Dicyclomine -Ketoprofen, Gabapentin, Lidocaine, Amitriptyline Hope this helps! ## My compounding pharmacy calls it Baclo-Keto-Lido 2/10...

THE BOTTOM OF MY FEET FEEL LIKE I'M WALKING ON ROCKS. A FRIEND OF MINE HAD THE SAME THING AND KETOSTAT GOT RID OF THE PAIN AND THE LUMPYNESS ON THE BOTTOM OF HIS FEET. HOW CAN I ORDER SOME. ## Ketostat is actually a compounded formulation that requires a doctor's prescription and has to be specially prepared by a compounding pharmacy. It contains Baclofen (muscle relaxant), Gabapentin (anticonsvulsant/analgesic), Lidocaine (topical anesthetic) and Cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxant). Learn more Baclofen details here. Learn more Gabapentin details here. Learn more Lidocaine details here. Learn more Cyclobenzaprine details here. this is a compound made by pharmacies. It has ketoprophen, cyclobenzaprine, gabapentin and lidocaine in an ointment ## I am researching ketoprophen cyclobenzprine ointment and found this forum. is keprocaine cream good for knee pain and inflamation ## Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what little bit of information I could gather, Keprocaine cream is a topical pain cream with the following active ingredients: Ketoprofen - nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug Baclofen - used to treat muscle spasms and tightness Cyclobenzaprine - skeletal muscle relaxant Lidocaine - local anesthetic With that said, I do believe it could be beneficial for knee pain and inflammation. Additionally, I would also highly recommend looking into "hyaluronic acid injections" for knee pain, as I've heard some great things about its effectiveness. I hope this helps!
