What pill is this, I have been prescribed percocet in the past but never had this number imprinted. Can you tell me if the formulary might have changed? ## This tablet is manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Since this is a generic medication, it is manufactured by several different companies, which creates market competition to help keep prices down. Which one your pharmacy may carry, at any given time, depends on what company was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. I found a pill that is white, with justthe number 15 imprinted on one side. Nothing else, no lines, letters, nothing. It is round in shape. I was told it was a15 Mg percocet from someone who is a veteran. Are there percs that look like this or is this a joke? ## There is no 15mg Percocet tablet on the U.S. market, they contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and they are only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. Learn more Percocet details here. There are 15mg Oxycodone tablets on the market, but this is not a listed marking for one of them. Learn more Oxycodone details here. If he's a veteran and he received it from a veteran's hospital, then it is hard to say what it is, because they do have a very large variety of medications available to them to keep costs down, t... ...

Round white pill and the pharmacy doesn't know what it is ## Hi Kelly, The only white pill I'm finding marked with "312" happens to be oblong in shape and not round, as you described it. This particular pill is identified as Vytorin (ezetimibe 10mg + simvastatin 20mg), which is prescribed for high cholesterol. For verification, it's National Drug Code is 66582-0312 and the manufacturer is Merck & Company. Also the size of this tablet is reported to be approximately 11.00 mm. Another close match is a white round pill marked with "512" as opposed to 312. It happens to have a score line on the back side and is identified as generic Acetaminophen 325mg + Oxycodone 5mg; used for moderate to severe pain. This is manufactured by Mallinckrodt and has a National D... ...

Is ketorolac part of the oxycodone family?
3 Replies RSS
Found a few ketorolac in my back yard and my good friend said it's an oxycodone... Worried if it is cause their little one is playing around my backyard. I have searched everywhere and picked them all up... Will be handing the to a pharmacy to get rid of them. ## Hi Kenzi. Both Ketorolac and Oxycodone are used to treat pain. They are in different classes of drugs though. Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), whereas Oxycodone is an opiate (narcotic) pain killer. So they are in different families. Can I ask exactly what the pills you found look like? Color / shape / markings on them? It may be possible to properly identify them that way. ## The pills are white..round and have letters KE and number 10 on them.. ## Ok, yes, I can confirm that those are Ketorolac (... ...
