I recently had an angiogram in which it was found that I had a minor arterial blockage for which isosorb 30mg was prescribed. This drug worked fine for 30 days, but when refilled by a different pharmacy isosorbide mono 30mg was provided. After the first dose, I had this hard to describe upper respiritory sensation, which kept me awake, and I also developed intense pain in my right hip, leaving me hardly able to walk. The two pills look different - the first is pink and oblong while the second is round and white with a mark across the middle as if intended to be cut in half. My wife has been taking "isosorb mono er 30mg tab wes" for a couple years. The pharmacy changed the tab to "Isosorb Mono Er 30mg Tab tor". The tablets have a different appearance.
