Isosorbide How Long Does A Headache Last

I'm started taking 30 mg Isosorbide Mononitrate err 4 days ago. I have migraine type headaches now. How long will this last? ## Hello, Fran! How are you? for you women out there....do you have heavier periods when taking isosorbide Mononitrate Er? ## Hello, Martha! How are you? Almost all medications can cause that, it's really not unusual. You may also find your cycle changing and being longer or short than usual. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, flushing, hypotension and abdominal pain. I had a very bad reaction to 1 dose of isosorbide within an hour of taking it. Severe headach, threw up and my headach has lasted 5 days! Will it ever go away? ## Have you contacted your doctor? Both of those can be common side effects of Isosorbide, but with the headache being very severe and lasting that long, you should seek medical attention.

I only started taking these under a week ago, the headaches I can deal with, but the pain in my jaw, ear and cheek I cannot, the pain is worse than trigeminal neuralgia i get occasionally It only does that on the morning tablet and I really dont think I can take anymore of them, this pain is driving me mad to the point of wanting to scream with the pain and discomfort. ## Please can anyone tell me this is normal? as it lasts about an hour or so, I have even taken paracetamols to try and ease it which I think it is helping. ## It was coming on the afternoon tablet aswell and couldnt handle the terrible pain in my jaw so I have stopped it, had a few angina pains because of stopping it quickly but The jaw pain has practically ended now thank god. I really cant take this medicine I too will...

I am taking my maintenance meds of aspirin, antibioti,c isosorbide vit b complex, and astorvastatin. Now I have a cold and dry throat.
