Hi i am using zopax for 7 months now with different deppresion meds precribed by my doctor. The thing is that i'm not getting better. The anxiety is more and and i keep getting tremors and muscle twitching and are very sore, ## Hi, Lulu! Sorry about the problem that you're having. What other medications do you take with it? I can't really say whether or not one may be related to your problem, without knowing what they actually are. Have you discussed it with your doctor? Some antidepressants can actually cause the opposite of their intended effects in some people that take them, so that could be something contributing here. ## Well, currrently I am on Ethipramine 2 a day, I increased it a week ago to 6 like my doctor prescriped, but graduately, and it felt that I could ran a...

My fiance passed away in a car accident. Now I can't sleep at night. My mom says tripilin nd zopex r the drugs I am gonna have to depend on then for sleeping, but the Dr gave them to me, now I dont know whether I must continue with them. Am I gonna be addicted? Am I not gonna sleep on my own when the tablets r finished? ## Hello, Yandi! How are you? I am very sorry about your loss. How long have you been taking the medications? At this point, I think that rather than worry about getting addicted to them, you need to take them and get rest, so you can deal with your loss and move on with life. ## Hi. Can I buy Zopex over the counter? I can't sleep well.

My new doctor gave me 3 weeks to get off Zopiclone now she wants me off Tramadol. How long would this take? Is there something I can take that is similar but not addictive? She also wants me off Methocarbamol 1,500 mg every 4 hours. I am scared stiff to come off all of these meds so quickly. Thank you ## Hello, Gina! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're having. How long have you been taking the Tramadol and how soon does she want you to stop it? The FDA does classifies it as an opioid, so it can be habit forming, which means a slow taper is usually best to prevent the worst of the possible withdrawal symptoms. They are listed as typically including nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, rebound pain and diarrhea. Unfortunately, there's really nothing similar that doesn...

We live in Mexico for the winter. I have osteoarthritis in my hip and leg and have just started taking rumoquin NF - it is amazing. But I have trouble sleeping sometimes - can I take a rumoquin pill and also 1/2 zopiclone before bedtime? ## Rumoquin contains Methocarbamol (a msucle relaxant), Dexamethasone (a corticosteroid) and Phenylbutazone (a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory). Zopiclone is a hypnotic used to treat insomnia. That said, I do not see anything that lists they are contraindicated, however, my inormation is all from the US and this site is not medical professionals. I suggest asking your doctor or pharmacist to be safe. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## Happy New Year. I appreciate your reply and your input into taking these two meds together. Thank you. ## Whe...

Is it safe to take an Urbanol in the morning and Zopax at night? I have a very stressful job. ## These are both benzodiazepines, which are used to treat anxiety, and panic disorders. Thus it is best to stick with one, or the other, since taking them both is really double up. The NIH warns that they carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, irritability, and mood changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

I obtained some Zopiclone and they are usually oval shaped and white in colour, 7.5mg but these are round and off white coloured with a large Z on one side of the pill and a score mark on the other, has anyone had anything similar? I tried the pill identifier online and it came up with something for headaches called Zomig. Thanks in advance. ## Since this is not approved and prescribed in the U.S., it would not be listed in the U.S. pill identifier databases, because non-approved products that aren't sold here do not fall under the law that requires them to be listed. And on that note, I haven't been able to find any information on a tablet with just a Z marking and it may be difficult for us to track it down, being that it is from a foreign source. Have you tried contacting the...

Hi, I usually take about 2 or 3 0.5mg zopax tablets during the day to function "normally" and 2 or 3 at night to get a nights sleep. I know that I am addicted to it but I now want to stop as I really want to get my life back as I have 2 kids and don't want to fail them. I know that once I'm off these and recover I will be able to lead a normal med free life because I really don't want to depend on medication but am so afraid of withdrawal pains especially insomnia. when I first started taking it to help me stay calm but more to knock me off at night it seemed like a fantastic miracle but now not so much as I feel like I can't go without it and when I do take it I really feel lethargic and sleepy not how I was before starting, an active happy person, I want to be ...

My son took a single Zopiclone last night and has been hallucenating all day. Is this normal? ## Hi Barbara, Based on my research, Hallucinations are one of the less common side effects associated with Zopiclone. Other less common side effects include but are not limited to: aggression, tremor, rebound insomnia, depression, nightmares, and hypomania. Have you spoken with his doctor about this? What are the side effects? Can I take it continuously? Does the body adjust and I might have to increase the amount I take? I am having trouble turning my brain off at night, I also take 75 mg of Elavil. ## Yea your body does adjust and you do have to take more ## Zopiclone can help you fall asleep faster, and help prevent frequent wake ups, so your quality of sleep may improve overall. The NHS lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, a bitter or metallic taste, next day tiredness. Ref: Zopiclone Information And as with any other medication, yes, your body may get used to it, which could result in your having to change your dosage, or try a different medication. My script has been filled with some round 7-5mg zopiclone. I know they're bad, or at least I think they are. They have BL on them. People I know have taken them and say they work, but these guys would drink petrol if it worked. Just wondering if you've heard of them? ## Where did they get these from? Online or from the UK? I just received my latest refill that are round white Zopiclone 7.5 mg with BL on one side. I have taken blue oval zopiclone 7.5 mg in Canada and the white ones did not have any effect? ## The pills you have are zopiclone. My pharmacist keeps changing between the meds mentioned above. Why? And I see that citalopram is not heart friendly. I am also on cardicor, liso, storwin, ecotrin, 0.1mg of eltroxin, 1/2 zopigen at night, calcium, multivitamin and omega 6. ## Talomil is just a brand name for Citalopram, so there is actually no change. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. What type of heart condition do have you been diagnosed with?

I'm experiencing double vision. Is this a side affect from zopedin (ambien)? ## The active ingredient in Ambien is actually called Zolpidem and yes, it can cause this as a side effect in some people that take it, as well as next day hangover like symptoms and grogginess. You can learn more Ambien details here. I actually had awful dizziness off an on for several months and no other solution was found....until I stopped taking Ambien, then it resolved in a few days. Are there any other questions or comments?

I have a horrible cough and found some Cheratussin AC cough syrup in the cupboard... I took two tsps and then remembered that I am now on Escitalopram... Will I have any problems combining the two? ## According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions listed between Cheratussin AC and Escitalopram. This does not necessarily mean that no interactions exist, however, I have no reason to believe that the combination is unsafe based on my own investigation. Nevertheless, it's always a good idea to consult your prescribing doctor with any doubts or concerns before moving forward.
