I'm having problems getting my prescriptions filled at cvs because the pharmacist doesn't feel comfortable filling it. I have been prescribed promethazineDM for over a year now but my allergies have been so bad I had to start getting the codeine instead of the DM. The pharmacist said that I have been prescribed the medication too much but this is only my 3rd prescription with the codeine and they all have only been 4oz each. The last time I had it filled at cvs has been over a month ago and they still won't fill it because they said I need refills or a bigger amount instead of bringing a new script every couple of weeks.. can someone please give me any advise it would be greatly appreciated. ## Codeine is an opiate narcotic, it is used to alleviate pain and will not actually... ...

Codeine is an opiate used to treat pain, as a cough medicine, and for diarrhea.[2][3] It is typically used to treat mild to moderate degrees of pain.[2] Greater benefit may occur when combined with paracetamol (acetaminophen) or a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) such as aspirin or ibuprofen.[2] Evidence does not support its use for acute cough suppression in children or adults.[4][5] In Europe it is not recommended as a cough medicine in those under twelve years of age.[2] It is g...

need new pain management doctor san jose
Post a Reply
Hi there, I'm currently coming off kaiser insurance and am looking for new PM specialist. I've been taking 10/325 norcos, 1mg clonazepam, Percocet and promethazine syrup. I was in a bad accident about 3 years ago and have had consistent back and lower sciatica pain that keeps me hobbled over all day and keeps me awake at night. Doctors have been turning patients away and lowering thier doses left and right, I'm just looking for a solid refferal to a legit doctor who will listen and not make me feel like I shouldn't be asking, all kaiser doctors make it awkward when talking pain pills. I've been searching and calling but so far nothing has hit other than a doctor in Hollister but he was just let go two months ago! I NEED HELP! SOS! I just want relief and I don't know ...
