I take 2 ELIQUIS tablets a day. One @ breakfast @ one @ 8 p.m. I would like to know if I can take Instaflex Advanced without any problems. ## Hello, Sally! How are you? You should check with your doctor, before taking it. It may not be safe for you to do so, since one of the ingredients in this supplement is Resveratrol, which may also cause blood thinning. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Eliquis as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising. Is there anything else I can help with?

How can I convince the doctor to give me the instant release Opana? I'm on the ER 10 mg Opana's now but would like the instant release I take with Oxycodone 30 mg. The regular release Opana seem to work better with my oxycodone. ## Hello, Vickie! How are you? I doubt they will, because usually pain management uses a time released medication and a regular release formulation. You may be able to switch to a time released Oxycodone and a regular release Opana. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What if any are the side effects of using with percoset and oxycontin? ## Based on Instaflex's natural ingredient profile, Instaflex should not pose any interaction with Percocet or Oxycontin. What is equivalent to the 5mg oxymorhone instant release ## Hello, Drumboy! How are you? It can vary from medication to medication, but to give you some examples… Some equivalents would be 15mgs of Morphine, 10mgs of Oxycodone, 15mgs of Hydrocodone or 20mgs of Hydromorphone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Was there a specific medication you wanted to compare it to?

Are there short term release 40mg oxicodone ## Hello, Manny! How are you? No, the instant release Oxycodone is only available in a 5mg Capsule. The others are either the regular release that take 15 to 20 minutes to start working or the time released Oxycontin that is slowly released over a 12 hour period. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How are you? I answered on the other post you made, but I will add it to this one, as well. Natural remedies are not tested for possible interactions with prescription medications, so there is nothing available on this. I'd suggest not taking anything, unless your doctor approves, just to be careful. Why do you want to take it?

Given OxyContin Extended Release 40mg per 12 hours in place of Methadone 10mg four times daily. Always given for pain by MD, 20 years now. Initial dose 20 yrs ago was 200 mg daily, got myself down to 120 mg daily, then down to 40mg (all of these in four doses, that took 3 years). I've been on OxyContin ER for one month along with Vicodin for breakthrough and Tramadol. Nothing really works. Can't sleep, eat or care for myself. The reason I'm off Methadone is because insurance said I would need to pay for it and I can't. Back with my parents and they are lost in this situation. On OxyContin I get relief for about 4 hours (after it takes close to an hour to start relief). They are the worst. I just want Methadone back but it has ruined and ruled my life. No marriage, no chi...

ARE IMFLAMATORY MEDICATIONS HARMFUL TO THE EYES? ## Instaflex is not an actual medication of any type, it is an over the counter supplement that is claimed to help with joint health. As such, the side effect profiles for it have not been studied, as is done for prescription medications. This company doesn't even list the full ingredients and amounts on their website, the only things they do note are that it contains Glucosamine, MSM and Hyuralonic Acid, which are contained in many over the counter products that are claimed to help your joints. As to actual NSAIDs, such as Diclofenac or Ibuprofen, visual changes and problems from them are considered serious side effects that you should contact your doctor about. Taking 290mg of Linzess 40 minutes before first meal on an empty stomach. Before I'm even finished eating I get severe cramps and run to the bathroom and have bad diarrhea. Should I be taking a lower dose? I only take the Linzess every other day. I have IBS with constipation and colitis. ## Hello, Shirley! How are you? Yes, you may want to speak to your doctor about trying to lower dosage, for awhile to see how it works for you. The cramping and diarrhea can be normal side effects, as listed by the FDA, but the lower dose may help mitigate them. Other side effects may possibly include nausea and dizziness. is there such a thing as instant relief methadone capsules?? I have been on methadone for ten years, and i have never heard of this! ## Well, there is no such thing as an instant relief formulation of any medication, even injections require some amount of time to work, though it may be very brief. When it comes to oral pain medications, they are called immediate release, because they are designed to start releasing the relevant medication as soon as your stomach acid touches it, rather than taking the 15 to 20 minutes to dissolve that most pills do. Learn more Methadone details here. And when it comes to Methadone, no there isn't an IR formulation, the closest that's available would be the liquid or the injections. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes there is methadon...

Can Instaflex be taken with Trileptal, Klonopin or Azor ## Hi Carrie, Unfortunately, there aren't any drug interactions/contraindications listed between natural alternatives (such as Instaflex) and pharmaceutical preparations. So there's really no way to know for sure how safe it may be alongside any of those medications you mentioned. For that reason alone, I believe your best bet would probably be to consult a naturopathic physician or herbalist who truly understands how those natural ingredients work within your body and in conjunction with certain types of medications. Posted below are the ingredients found in Instaflex: Glucosamine Sulfate Methylsufonlylmethane (MSM) White Willow Bark Extract (standardized to 15% Salicin) Ginger Root Concentrate 4:1 Boswella Serrata Extract...

Why do I get different sizes of the oxycodone 30 mg? Sometimes it is a small one and sometimes it's bigger, as in the roundness is bigger. ## It depends on the inactive ingredients that each manufacturer has chosen to use in their tablets, some make the pills more bulky than others. The FDA warns that this mediation carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. The tablet you asked about is a regular release formulation. Is there anything else I can help with?
