How can I convince the doctor to give me the instant release Opana? I'm on the ER 10 mg Opana's now but would like the instant release I take with Oxycodone 30 mg. Given OxyContin Extended Release 40mg per 12 hours in place of Methadone 10mg four times daily. Always given for pain by MD, 20 years now. Initial dose 20 yrs ago was 200 mg daily, got myself down to 120 mg daily, then down to 40mg (all of these in four doses, that took 3 years). I've been on OxyContin ER for one month along with Vicodin for breakthrough and Tramadol. Nothing really works. Can't sleep, eat or care for myself. The reason I'm off Methadone is because insurance said I would need to pay for it and I can't. Back with my parents and they are lost in this situation. ARE IMFLAMATORY MEDICATIONS HARMFUL TO THE EYES? ## Instaflex is not an actual medication of any type, it is an over the counter supplement that is claimed to help with joint health. As such, the side effect profiles for it have not been studied, as is done for prescription medications. This company doesn't even list the full ingredients and amounts on their website, the only things they do note are that it contains Glucosamine, MSM and Hyuralonic Acid, which are contained in many over the counter products that are claimed to help your joints. As to actual NSAIDs, such as Diclofenac or Ibuprofen, visual changes and problems from them are considered serious side effects that you should contact your doctor about.
