I live in Kokomo, IN. I was on subs, but they require way to many na/as meetings. I have a full time job and 2 kids to look after. I heard there is a doc in Carmel that doesn't make you do these classes. I just need the medication cause I've been addicted to opiates for almost 20 years. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ## Most of the places I've tried make you find your own counselor which can be super expensive and difficult to get an appointment or else they won't prescribe you the medicine. I found a clinic opening in Carmel next month called Lucina treatment center which at least provides the counseling included in your cost so might give them a try. Can't be any worse than my current provider.

I am in Indianapolis. Is it hard to find a doctor here to prescribe suboxone? I am having a hard time finding a doctor. I have been on pain killers for years and not only want to get off them but my doctor and the whole practice is starting to deny any prescriptions for narcotics which seems to be the norm here now. I have legit pain but I would rather deal with it then be treated like a drug addict by doctors! I have tried tapering and cold turkey. I think subs are the way to go. My friend stopped using her medication with the help of subs. Can someone please give me info or help on this subject? ## Hello, Inindy! How are you? My daughter has been on suboxone for 4 years her Dr got arrested need her to find a dr ## Have her sign up at NAABT.ORG, it's a dr match site for this. Yeah, Dr Ley and DORN associates were good, but the DEA shouldn't have dismantled their operation w/o providing a list of doctors. Now the DEA has our records, so many can't find anyone to even take them. He and the DEA are to blame for this. Not us, who go to counseling, take our drug panels, work, doing everything right and then BAM! Nothing for us. ## yep, same here! I was a patient at Leys clinic for a little over a year & really, I'm not surprised they shut him down. But before that I was a patient at Wagner Medical Center for 7 yrs then they were shut down. My pharmacy just recently switched brands and the pharmacy doesn't accept my insurance either! Looking for a new Suboxone Dr as close to Bloomington as possible, ASAP. I'm out and will be losing my job Monday if I can't find some1 who will accept me. ## Did you find a Sub doctor? Just curious..why would you lose your job if you didn't find a doctor? ## I found one.... but he's 90 miles from bloomington and doesn't take my insurance. U know of someone who does?? And I'd lost my job bc I can't work when I'm sick. ## Do you still have insurance? If so, what type do you have? If your not working now, you would probably qualify for medical assistance or "Minnesota Care." Have you already been on suboxone, or is this something your just now looking to get started on? I had been seeing a suboxone doctor in Bloomington IN. Recently I had applied for medicaid and was granted full coverage. I dunno if anyone is farmilar with medicaid policies, but you must choose a plan before a certain amount of time is up or one will be assigned to you. Before choosing a plan I phoned my doctors office and asked them what forms of medicaid that they accepted. I chose a plan based on the information that I was provided. I started seeing this doctor in late November of last year 2014, was prescribed 12 mg of suboxone daily. On the 16th of this month I was to have an appointment with him at 10:30am. On the 15th I received a phone call from the office stating that my medicaid plan had switched and they could no longer see me due to the fact that they couldn't bill the...
