It is used in the treatment of dental abscess, strep throat, chlamydia infection, skin infection, pharyngitis, etc.. and belongs to the drug class macrolides. It is an oval white tablet with reddish pink specs. It has an "a" (like the one you described) on the front next to the letters PCE. I need a pic of this pill, its white round blank on one side and a capital E over numbers 333 on the other side. It is a generic brand ## Hi scott, Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a picture of pill that matches the description you provided. However, I believe that the pill may have been manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (Eon Labs). The closest match I've found is a round light yellow pill with the imprint E 144 divided by a score line. If you google image "yellow pill E 144" You should be able to find the pill I've described. Based on my research, the E logo on this pill is the logo for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (Eon Labs). Hopefully this information will help you to narrow down your search!
