I started Sprintec a week and a half ago, first time ever on birth control, on the Sunday of my period, for the purpose of skipping my period two cycles from now. I noticed nausea almost immediately and pretty much everyday. I'm okay with that because I've been eating less. I started spotting three days ago, very light, but still need to wear a panty liner. I know it says that spotting is normal, but I just don't want it to last for weeks, all to skip my period for 5 days in two months. Could this be my period? Or how long does this last? Hi I'm nthabiseng and I have just started using oralcon...it was given to me by a nurse/sister at the clinic,she told me to take it same day given to me after I told her I took my periods two weeks back and as I read the intruction it states you must take them on the first day of your periods.....my question is that (will it work preventing me from being pregnant or not).....I'm a bit CONFUSED because I did as intructed at the clinic!!! ## If you start taking them on the first or second day of your period, then you will be immediately protected from pregnancy. I have taking a at home test and it has been negative.
