My daughter is pregnant (40 weeks) but her doctor told her that the wall of her uterus & the cervix is too thick, and that scopinal hyoscine N butylbromide play a role in giving birth by decreasing their thickness. Does that really help in giving birth or not?

trade name = BUSCOPAN Each sugar coated tablet contains: Hyoscine Butylbromide I.P. 10mg ## U am using up to 8 a day 10mg tabs for 3 months now and have calcium deficiency now. I have diverticular disease. I use also omeprazole 20mg cap a day to stop return of peptic ulcer. side effects nausea diahorrea and constipation and ab. pain. am tempted to stop these prescription meds as they are making me more ill i believe.
