Hydrocodone Feet Swelling

my Dr has changed my medication fron norco to percocet, and now my feet and ankles are swelling severely. What is the difference between hydrocodone and oxycodone? ## They are both narcotic analgesics, however, the Oxycodone is stronger than they Hydrocodone. Oxycodone, by itself, doesn't usually cause peripheral edema, however, it could be the Acetaminophen, since it can sometimes cause people to retain fluids and, if that is what is causing it, it would have also happened with the Norco. Have you consulted your doctor? Whenever edema occurs, it is very important to discover what is causing it, since it can be a sign of other serious medical conditions. I have swelling in my feet and ankles which causes soreness. It seems to happen when I take hydrocodone for pain in my knees after double knee replacement. Can hydrocodone causing swelling. I have been treated with hydrocodone for the past 16 years and now my doctor wants to refer me to a pain clinic. I have 3 herniated discs in my neck I've rheumatoid arthritis I have very bad anxiety that sometimes won't let me leave the house I have depression. My mother has spondylosis and are symptoms are very similar. I am unable to work because I cannot stand or sit for long periods of time. I have joint pain and swelling in my hands and feet. I have a lot of stress in my life. I may get about 2 to 3 hours of sleep off and on through the night. I have gastropraesis and DDD.
