I took a Tramadol 50mg, at 6am how long should I wait before taking my Hydrocodone 10/325mg ## It's always best to follow your doctor's dosing instructions, but usually you can just transition smoothly from one opiate to another, at the next scheduled dosing time. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

What pill is this small red capsule with a white powdery substance in it? I was told it's hydrocodone 50 mgs. ## Hello, how are you? I have to say that I find it very doubtful. The only 50mg dosage available of Hydrocodone is a time released version that is sold under the brand name Zohydro... and under current FDA laws, unique imprints on such manufactured tablets and capsules are required, in order to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Are there any markings on this capsule? If so, please post back and clarify, so I can research further for you. Thus, while there is a small chance that it could be a foreign medication, since other countries are not obligated to abide by U.S. laws, it is much more likely that it is just some type of over the counter product and shou...

Have been taking pain meds for 8 years due to terrible back. Have had 4 back surgeries with 3 of them since 2014, the last one was August 2016 which was spinal fusion L4/5 with screws, plate, rod and pins! Also suffer from fibromyalgia which is bad this time of year. I have been taking percocets 10mg x 6 daily since last surgery. Last week switched from pain management to primary physician due to cost and drive an hour away. Am now been switched to hydrocodone 10mg 4 x a day and tramadol 50mg 2 x a day. I miserable pain has increased? Having leg aches, body aches and seems pain gets worse an hour after taking hydrocodone. Is this crazy? I can't live like this. I have family I take care of, also back pain is worse with nerve pain in left leg. Neurosurgeon told me I would have some of...

What are the effects of 10mg hydrocodone and 50 mg tramadol taken together? ## You should not take them, together, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Some may be worsened by combining the two. Have they both been prescribed for you?

Hydros say IP 109 and Naproxen says IP 190 ## Hi amanda, Thanks for clearing up any confusion between the two pills! From what I could gather, another differentiating factor is that Naproxen's tablet also has "500" imprinted on the other side of IP 190; whereas with Hydrocodone/Apap, IP 109 is the only imprint. Naproxen 500mg (NDC 65162-0190): Ref: DailyMed Hydrocodone/Apap 5mg-325mg (NDC 53746-109): Ref: DailyMed Hope this helps! ## Is "ip190" and "tramadol hcl 50mg" the same thing?

blue oblong a\p 110 hydrocodone ## No, this is not a Hydrocodone tablet, nor does it contain any type of narcotic. This is a Cephadyn tablet, it contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 50mgs of Butalbital, this medication is mainly used to relieve migraines and tension headaches. You can learn more Acetaminophen details here and you can learn more Butalbital details here. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and headache. There is a request out by the FDA to lower the amount of Acetaminophen in combination prescription medications to only 325mgs, but so far, the listing does not include anything other than the narcotic combinations, however, that may change. I'm just posting this here so everyone is aware that it may change, at some point. Are there any questions or c...

Have 10 tab blister pack of caplets with no logo. However, outside says Mallinckrodt. I peeled that away and Inas Pharmaceuticals was on the foil of the blister pack. All I can read is I believe contents: sodium 50mg. but the rest is cut off. Is it possible that Inas manufactures for Mallinckrodt and they add the logo? Are these safe? ## Inas Pharmaceuticals is not Mallinckrodt. Inas is located in India. What you have was not maunfactured by Mallinckrodt. There is no way of knowing what the tablets contain. ## @Ruth, From what I've researched, BL is correct in stating that there is no relation between Mallinckrodt and Inas Pharmaceuticals. Mallinckrodt reportedly has headquarters in Dublin, Ireland + St. Louis, MO (USA), while Inas is solely based in Gujarat, India. Given this infor...

My bottle dates back two years old. Is it still OK to take? Wonder if it will harm me at this age? I'm sick with a cough and can't get out. ## I’m waiting to know what the difference in strength is between a hydrocodone-homatropine 5-1.5mg pill and a 10/325mg hydrocodone-acetaminophen pill, and how many of the hydrocodone-homatropine 5-1.5mg pills would I need to take to equal one of my 10/325 hydrocodone-acetaminophen pills? Can I also take my tramadol 50mg pills with the hydrocodone-homatropine 5-1.5mg pills? ## Mike, medications tend to lose efficacy once past their expiration date, so they may not work as well as they did, when they were new. Additionally, liquid medications can turn rancid, so they could actually make you ill. Thus, it would be best not to take it, bu...

Hi can I take Hydrocodone5mg/325 when i am allergic to codeine isn't Hydrocodone5mg/325 from the same family as Codeine because Codeine itches me.my Doctor gave me this for menstrual cramps, because she took me off 50mg Indomethian due to Kidney problems.I am afraid to take the Hydrocodone 5mg/325 cause i am afraid it will itch me what can I take is these medications the same or not. ## Yes, they are distantly related, but not the exact same substance. The itchiness, however, can be a normal side effect that some people experience from narcotics and the only way to see if this one affects you in the same manner is by actually trying it. Did you discuss your concerns with your doctor?

I have been taking Hydrocodone 10-325 for 5 really shattered disc's, in which 5 of the top Neuro-surgens in PA stated that I would be a dead man, if they operate. I live in constant pain and the Hydrocodone helps a little. Now a VA Doctor prescribed Tramadol 50mg tabs. This Doctor is not my Primary care Doctor, just a fill-in. Correct me if I'M wrong, but this seems to me that this will in no way take away my pain, and furthermore, it seems like pain management. What are the answers, and What can I do???? ## If you get relief from Tramadol I would stay on that. If you have a condition with chronic pain all the time you would need more than Norco. You would need Oxycontin and since you would most likely be on it for life you don't want to take tylenol every day. Chances are y...

He won't switch me back....what medicine will work for me? ## Same here he wont put me back on hydrocodone.....I'm having bowel incontinence with the embeda ## Hello, Dawn! How are you? What dose of the Embeda were you prescribed? There's a chance that it isn't equivalent to what you were taking. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## Sorry to hear you are still in pain. I take Embeda 50mg once a day. I was on norco 7.5/325 for several months and it stopped working. Dr put me on embeda but when...

I ran out of my meds which is hydrocodone 10 325 I'm wondering what the equal to how many tramadol 50 milligramS ## Hello, Twisttle! How are you? I'm sorry, but you can't even convert between the two, they are nowhere even close to being the same in efficacy. The best suggestion I can make is to call your doctor and see what they suggest you do. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## 150 mg tramadol is way better than 1,2,3, or 4 hydros in duration and overall feeling ## What??? I get 60 50mg Tramadol a month. Yes I know you need to be in "withdrawal" before you start. I have been taking 30 to 50mg of hydrocodone for over a year now almost daily. All started when I tore muscles in my shoulders and neck. I know the opioids need to be out of your system. I made the mystake of taking a sub not even a day after taking hydrocodone and was sick with major withdrawals. I was throwing up and felt like I was going to die. Wanted to sleep on the bathroom floor. I don't want that to happen again but I don't want to be full blown withdrawing before I take it. I'm already experiencing slight withdrawal symptoms. Should I wait longer? Or can I take it now? ## I am new to this thread. I really want to get off of opioids. If anyone here knows please let me know. ## No, you need to be in f...

I've been taking 10/325 hydrocodones × 5 per day for a couple of years for pain then the laws changed and, my Dr. prescribed me 1, 30 mg. Kadian cr per day for pain, the hydrocodone kinda helped for pain but i never was fully pain free. Just wanted ask how the new prescription would be better or should I ask for something else. I suffer from osteoarthritis, degenerate bone disease in just about all my joints. Any help with questions would be appreciated greatly. ## Hello, Wohali! How are you? To be equivalent to the amount of Hydrocodone that you were taking, you'd need 50mgs of Morphine. These opiates convert on a 1 to 1 ratio. Thus, the 30mg dosage may not be enough to get your pain under control, but the only way to find out is by trying it. The FDA classifies this medic...
