my doctor gave me a prescription for norcos 10's. when I went to the pharmacy they gave me a yellow oblong pill with 170 on one side and nothing on the other. They told me it was norco 10. did they make a mistake ## If it has 170 on it, is oblong & yellow it is Hydrocodone 7.5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg. It does not have Hydrocodone 10 mg in it. Instead it has Hydrocodone 7.5 mg. ## The identification provided is correct. NDC: 57664-0170 The FDA wants that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything I can help with?

My orginal script was a white oblong pill with imprint m367, however just got refill and the pill is yellow with imprint 170 on it, I can not find this any where. The script is for hydrocodene 10-325, Took them back in the pharmacy and they said it was the same pill just another manfacturer.Thought they should at least change the lable incase I got pulled over. What is the limit for a single dose for a 170 lb person? I hear this drug can be dangerous and I want to make sure my son is taking it correctly for his surgery recovery. ## The hydrocodone will not harm him even if he took 8 per day but the acetaminophen cannot be more than 4000 mg a day. Im having an awful time with migraines. No triptans work so I'm on narcotics for chronic pain. Currently taking hydrocodone 10/325 twice a day but its not helping much anymore. Pain mgnmt dr prescribed Butrans 5mg patch. Its not covered by my insurance so I wanted to know if its better for pain than the current hydro I'm on before spending $170 on a mths supply. what are the millegrams of hydrocodone and acetemaphine that is in the yellow vicodin and is it the strongest vicodin on the market? ## There are several yellow tablets on the market that contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, since it is also available as a generic. Here's the information on some of them and the dosages: WATSON 853 10/325mgs V 36 01 10/325mgs WATSON 3228 10/750mgs 170 7.5/325mgs Do any of these match the markings on the tablet in question? As you can see, the dosages vary, so I can't tell you if the one you have is the strongest available, or not. It is, however, only available in a maximum of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone. So I've been doing some research and came across these new drugs out now or coming soon. Just wanted anyone's opinion on them. Or if you have tried them, what do you think? 1: Vantrela ER (Hydrocodone Bitartrate) 2: Arymo ER (Morphine Sulfate) 3: Probuphine (rod-shaped subdermal implant that last for up to 6 months & costs anywhere from 1,700-5,000 bucks for six months worth) 4: Belbuca (Buprenorphine) doses run from 75-900 and costs run from 250-700 bucks There's one more but it does not have a name yet. It's just called NKTR-181. So if anyone has any info on these please share your thoughts and or if you tried any of them please let me know how they worked or didn't work.
