I have 7.5-325/15ML - How many ML would it take to equal one pill of hydrocodone? ## Hello, Katie! How are you? I have been taking Hydrocodon-APAP 10-325 2 PILLS EVERY 4 HOURS 3 to 4 times a day for 15 years. My problem is the last few prescriptions I've received have not done much to help with the pain. The last few prescriptions are Watson 853 tablets. I have taken as many as 4 to 4 & 1/2 pills within an hour & a half & it was like I was taking nothing!! I have heard that sometimes the medicine is replaced with a placebo or that the Government is cutting down the ingredient that actually give fast pain relief. Have been taking pain pills for past 10 years for back issues. New doctor had me on Morphine extended release and immediately release for 5 months then switched me to 15 mg Oxycodone for 5 weeks after surgery and was taking 15 mg every 6 hours, but last 2 weeks I took 1 every 4 hours. I had been on oxy before and I don't do well with it. Already addicted and wanted to get off it I asked for Hydrocodone. He gave me 10/325 taking every 4 hrs. My withdraws are bad and the pain is back. Nurse called back and said I can't take more than 1 every 4 hrs and to deal with it. What to do? I got myself off Oxycodone before over 3 months of cutting myself back. This is killing me. Please give me advice. Also was told to talk antihistamine and 4 ibuprofen each time. Iv had this medication for 18months now and when I too it it took along time to kick in Should I get a new prescription? ## Hi Sandy, How did you have to wait before noticing any relief from taking it? Unless you took it with a meal, it shouldn't take very long (typically no more than say 15-20 minutes on average) to feel the effects of a medication you ingested. If however, you are simply not getting much relief or benefit from its use, I would definitely encourage you to speak with your doctor about other types of treatment options for your pain. If you are only taking 5mls, then 90mls should last for 18 doses, which if taken every 4 hours would be 3 days and 4.5 days if taken every 6 hours, but you should be aware that from what you've listed the full dose is in 15mls, not 5mls. In that case, if you were taking 15ml, it would be just 6 doses. As to how long it should last, going by days, that depends on how it's been prescribed, if it's on an 'as needed' basis, then the prescribing doctor may expect it to last longer than those time frames. If u take 500 mg of hydrocodone. How many 1.5 's would you have to take to make it near 500 ## The most Acetaminophen that a tablet that is prescription can have in it now is 325 mg. Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen comes in 3 strengths, Hydrocodone 10/Acetaminophen 325, Hydrocodone 7.5/Acetaminophen 325 and Hydrocodone 5/Acetaminophen 325. ## @Rest, I've never heard of anyone taking 500mgs of Hydrocodone, except throughout the duration of an entire monthly or bi-weekly script (i.e. if you took two 7.5mg tablets [15mg] a day for 33 days, you'd be at 495 mgs)... but for the sake of answering the question at hand, if you were to simply divide 500mg by 1.5mg, it would come out to roughly 333 1.5mg doses - Something that would have to require a patient to divide their 5mg pills into 1/...

I have been taking 5 hydrocodone 10 / 325 mg for about 8 years, my body has adjusted to this so it has not been working as well as it used to. My doctor has now prescribed me morphine ER 15 mg every 12 hours and hydrocodone 10 / 325 4 times a day. Will this be a better pain relief and do you know of any problems with taking both of these together at this dosage? For verification, the inactive ingredients in 'Hycet' (hydrocodone bitartrate 7.5 + acetaminophen 325mg) oral solution include: D & C Red #33 and FD & C Red #40 as coloring. Hello, I know someone who is prescribed Hydrocodone-- 10mg-325 acetaminophen mg and Morphine-15mg. This person said on a "good day" they take 60mg of hydrocodone which would be 1950 mg acetaminophen as well as the 30 mg of morphine a day- again on a good day. Hi. Came across a Norco 10/325 with simply "M367" and no "Watson" imprint. Real or garbage? ## @Stephen, Legitimate M367 pills don't say "Watson" on them. They only have the M367 imprint on the front and a vertical score line on the back side. Also, just for the record, these pills in particular are reportedly manufactured by Mallinckrodt, not Watson/Actavis. For verification, they carry a National Drug Code of 00406-0367 and are approximately 15.00 mm in size. I have had many Qualitest Hydrocodone 10/325, printed different. Right way is v, turn over3601, which is correct. Others , the V is upside down. Totally different printed pills. This should not be happening. I am concerned they are counterfeit pills. Happened to me twice now. Help. I need to know if I took too much medicine this morning on pain pills. I usually take one 10 mg 325 hydrocodone plus one morphine 15 er every morning around 8:30. This morning was my time to change my weekly, well fill my weekly meds in my daily a.M. And p.M. And I was changing the way I take my meds as I also take about 5 different meds at around noon each day.
