I have 7.5-325/15ML - How many ML would it take to equal one pill of hydrocodone? ## Hello, Katie! How are you? From what you've listed the dosage is 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen per 15mls, so that would be the same as taking the same dosed tablet. However, you should not exceed the given dosage instructions. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## sooooo is that one tablet for every 15mls??.......................... ........ ...

Have been taking pain pills for past 10 years for back issues. New doctor had me on Morphine extended release and immediately release for 5 months then switched me to 15 mg Oxycodone for 5 weeks after surgery and was taking 15 mg every 6 hours, but last 2 weeks I took 1 every 4 hours. I had been on oxy before and I don't do well with it. Already addicted and wanted to get off it I asked for Hydrocodone. He gave me 10/325 taking every 4 hrs. My withdraws are bad and the pain is back. Nurse called back and said I can't take more than 1 every 4 hrs and to deal with it. What to do? I got myself off Oxycodone before over 3 months of cutting myself back. This is killing me. Please give me advice. Also was told to talk antihistamine and 4 ibuprofen each time. I have to give this medicine to my child. What I want to know is how many ml's are in 4 grams, because it says don't exceed 4 grams per day? ## 4 grams would be 4,000 milligrams of the Acetaminophen, so since this medication contains 325mgs per dose, you should be fine, as long as you follow the doctor's dosing instructions. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Iv had this medication for 18months now and when I too it it took along time to kick in Should I get a new prescription? ## Hi Sandy, How did you have to wait before noticing any relief from taking it? Unless you took it with a meal, it shouldn't take very long (typically no more than say 15-20 minutes on average) to feel the effects of a medication you ingested. If however, you are simply not getting much relief or benefit from its use, I would definitely encourage you to speak with your doctor about other types of treatment options for your pain. I hope this helps! ## Do you mean you have been taking this med for 18 months or you have had the same prescription for 18 months ? ## the time it takes to absorb very's from person to person and the time you ate around taking the pil... ...

How long should hydrocodone liquid last 7.5-325/15 90ml? Taken every 4-6 hours at 5 mls. ## Hello, Kendra! How are you? If you are only taking 5mls, then 90mls should last for 18 doses, which if taken every 4 hours would be 3 days and 4.5 days if taken every 6 hours, but you should be aware that from what you've listed the full dose is in 15mls, not 5mls. In that case, if you were taking 15ml, it would be just 6 doses. As to how long it should last, going by days, that depends on how it's been prescribed, if it's on an 'as needed' basis, then the prescribing doctor may expect it to last longer than those time frames. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizz... ...

If u take 500 mg of hydrocodone. How many 1.5 's would you have to take to make it near 500 ## The most Acetaminophen that a tablet that is prescription can have in it now is 325 mg. Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen comes in 3 strengths, Hydrocodone 10/Acetaminophen 325, Hydrocodone 7.5/Acetaminophen 325 and Hydrocodone 5/Acetaminophen 325. ## @Rest, I've never heard of anyone taking 500mgs of Hydrocodone, except throughout the duration of an entire monthly or bi-weekly script (i.e. if you took two 7.5mg tablets [15mg] a day for 33 days, you'd be at 495 mgs)... but for the sake of answering the question at hand, if you were to simply divide 500mg by 1.5mg, it would come out to roughly 333 1.5mg doses - Something that would have to require a patient to divide their 5mg pills into 1/... ...

they expired 2 years ago, can they still be taken? ## Hi Christeen, There's actually a lot of conflicting information around the topic of expired medication, but according to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. This conclusion was based upon a study conducted at the request of the US military due to stockpiles of expensive drugs they could otherwise need to replace every few years. The conclusion was that 90% of those drugs remained effective 10 - 15 years after the expiration date. But the question is whether or not the drug you have happens to be one of these drugs from the study... (I have not seen the list of drugs use... ...

Hello, I know someone who is prescribed Hydrocodone-- 10mg-325 acetaminophen mg and Morphine-15mg. This person said on a "good day" they take 60mg of hydrocodone which would be 1950 mg acetaminophen as well as the 30 mg of morphine a day- again on a good day. I do not know much about all of this- so my question is- how dangerous is this? Thanks for all your help! ## It being dangerous, or not, depends on the person and their tolerance to opiates. If they have been taking them for awhile and their doctor has prescribed them this way, things are most likely fine. The biggest issue with the medications and amounts you've mentioned would actually be due to the Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that you should not exceed 1,000mgs of it per any 8 hour time period, and no more than 3,00... ...

is there a 15 mg hydrocodone pill
27 Replies RSS
i take norco 10/325 and wonder is there a stronger hydrocodone pill such as 15/325 ## No, the maximum amount currently available on the market is 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The only way to get a higher dosage than that is if your doctor specially orders it and it is put together for you by a compounding pharmacy. Hydrocodone is a potent narcotic and is rarely given in higher doses. Usually, when someone isn't getting the pain relief they need from it, they move on to something else, such as Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. It is still a narcotic and can cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## Try not to go up to percet. Hi. Came across a Norco 10/325 with simply "M367" and no "Watson" imprint. Real or garbage? ## @Stephen, Legitimate M367 pills don't say "Watson" on them. They only have the M367 imprint on the front and a vertical score line on the back side. Also, just for the record, these pills in particular are reportedly manufactured by Mallinckrodt, not Watson/Actavis. For verification, they carry a National Drug Code of 00406-0367 and are approximately 15.00 mm in size. You are right though about them being 10mg Hydrocodone bitartrate + 325mg Acetaminophen; a generic for Norco. I have had many Qualitest Hydrocodone 10/325, printed different. Right way is v, turn over3601, which is correct. Others , the V is upside down. Totally different printed pills. This should not be happening. I am concerned they are counterfeit pills. Happened to me twice now. NEVER use to have this problem. ## It's not counterfeit, it just has to do with the pharmacy ordering from a different soarse. Like meds from the V.A. are marked different. Right no with DEA and FDA cracking down is making it hard for pharmacies to get any type of pain medication. Sad part is that this is creating people who are in need are going to the streets for meds, this in turn is more drug dealers out there so now DEA can keep there jobs. How long should this bottle of meds last? ## Hi Kayla - Can you please double check the total size of the bottle? 360 oz doesn't seem possible for a prescription since that equals over 10,000 ml. Do you mean to say 360 ml? ## I'm going to assume for a moment that the OP meant 36 oz of liquid since that equals about 1065 ml. That being the case, taking a dose every 4 hours equals 6 doses per day. BUT ... I have a bottle of hydrocodone/acetaminophen 7.5-325 15ml. I am use to taking a high dose of tablets at once because my body is so used to it. You really can't keep taking such high amounts, at once, you're far exceeding the dosage limits for the Acetaminophen, which is only 1,000mgs maximum per dose. 6 tablets would be 1,950mgs per dose. It's also not safe to exceed 3,000mgs of Acetaminophen a day, due to the risk of liver damage, liver failure or fatal toxicity.
