My husband takes the Hydrocodone/Apap 5-500MG Tablet by Mallinckrodt. When we went to a different drug store, they gave us Hydrocodone/Apap 10-325. The drug store says it's the same as Hydrocodone/Apap 5-500MG. This can't be true? ## Well, no, obviously not, this is clearly a different dosage of the medication. The first tablet he was receiving contained 5mgs of the narcotic Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The new one contains 10mgs of the Hydrocodone and only 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is completely different and not equivalent at all. The higher dose of the narcotic could cause more severe side effects, such as: drowsiness, nausea, dizziness and constipation. In addition, it could cause him to build a tolerance or addiction faster, and when he does get the other p...

hydrocodone-apap 10mg/325mg pale yellow tablet... I would like to know if this drug could cause itching? ## Yes, Hydrocodone can cause itching. Its called puritis, and is a very common side effect of the medication. ## That is correct, narcotics can cause itching in some people as a side effect, however, there is also another way it could be causing it and that would be if you are allergic to something in it. Have you consulted your doctor? In such cases, it is very important to discuss it with your doctor to determine if it is a side effect, or due to being allergic to something in the tablets. ## Yes, many of us using this drug experience itching. It is normal. No worries, just never take more than prescribed. Good luck! ## Yes, but you can take a Benadryl with it ## I have been takin...

A light yellow oblong shaped tablet imprinted with 36 01 on the front and V on th back. ## T have been taking hydrocod/apap 5/500 and have been changed to hydroc/apap 10/325. whichy is stronger? ## is this pill hydroco/apap ? it has M357 on it ## In regards to the original question, yes the tablet with the 3601 V contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and is roughly equivalent to what you were taking. The dosage of the narcotic has been raised, while the Acetaminophen has been lowered, to help protect you from the damage that long term use of higher doses of it can cause, such as liver failure. It may even be a little stronger for you and help your pain more, depending on how sensitive you are to the narcotic. You can learn more Vicodin details here. And yes, the tabl...

Is it, in fact, 10/325??? ## i ran out of mu usuall watson big like oval bklue tens and i got this through a buddy.. is it in fact the same thing?? i dont want to take it if not ## Yes, this tablet is Hydrocodone 10mgs and Acetaminophen 325mgs. However, if you are running out early, then apparently your pain is not in control and rather than getting meds illegally from someone else, you should see your doctor to see what you can do to better treat your condition. ## I too have always taken the blue pill which is lortab 10/500..and recently I had to go to a different pharmacy and they gave me a white tablet..and it say M363 on one side the other is plain..they said it is the same as the ...

How are you? Yes, as of the first of the year, they are only available with a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, just like the new one you are taking. The Acetaminophen tends to augment the action of the narcotic, that's why the new one doesn't seem to work as well for you. However, your body should adjust after a week or two. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, d...

Can you tell me what the pill looks like? ## Hi Kim, From what I could gather, most of the 5/325mg Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone Bitartrate tablets are white and capsule (oblong) shaped. Some of the imprints on these pills are: IP 109, M365, 3202 WATSON, and 3604 V. There may be more though. Did you have any specific questions or concerns regarding this medication? Please post back if you do. ## Are the V3604. The same as M365? ## my daughter has von wilebrand disease, can she take this for pain? tylenol does nothing for her ## Do Watson make hydrocodone acetaminophen (norco) 5-325 only or do they have another company that make the pill to

does hydrocodone apap come in 12.5/500 mg ## No, before the DEA made changes the maximum dosage available only contained 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, since the changes, the maximum available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. WHAT IS THE T FOR ON THE WHITE HYDROCODONE ACETAMINOPHEN 10-325 BY WATSON THIS IS 10-325 T I RECENTLY CHANGED FROM YELLOW 10-325MG TABS TO WHITE ONES I AM NOT CRAZY BUT THE WHITE ONES ARE NOT REALLY HELPING AS WELL WHY IS THAT ## Hi jen, Your not the first to say that the white ones haven't been working as well. There have actually been several complaints to Watson (Actavis) regarding the lack of potency in their "supposedly equivalent" white tablets. They claim that the only difference lies in the removal of 'dye', however that doesn't necessarily explain why they don't work as well, since dye has no real impact on anything but its color. The true answer to their ineffectiveness is still a mystery until the manufacturer opens up and spills the beans. In the ...

Plain orange oblong tablet. No marking ## Hello, Pecos! How are you? If there is are no markings on the tablet then they are not Hydrocodone, which the FDA classifies as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. All prescription drug products in the U.S. are required by law to have unique imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Something that has no markings is most likely an over the counter product, of some type. Where was it found? ## Oblong Orange Scored Pill with no writing is Hydrocodone 10mg/APAP 325mg. They came out in 2016 as a way for Vertisec to produce generic drugs.

Male 210lbs - takes whatever whenever, but is taking over a dozen hydrocodone-apap 10mg/325mg pills in 24 hours. Is that bad? What's bound to happen?...What if he takes oxycodone 15mg also? ## Hello, From what I am seeing, daily consumption of hydrocodone should not exceed 40 milligrams in patients not tolerant to opiates. The PDR from 2006 states that Norco 10, containing 10 milligrams of hydrocodone and 325 mg of APAP (Acetaminophen) can be taken at a dosage of up to twelve tablets per day (120 mg of hydrocodone). This restriction is only limited by the fact that twelve tablets, each containing 325 mg of APAP (Acetaminophen), puts the patient right below the 24-hour FDA maximum of 4,000 mg of APAP. Some specially compounded products are routinely given to chronic pain patients in ...

Could this be a placebo. this pill has always given me some relief. ## Hello, Gene! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in so much pain. No, it would actually be illegal for your pharmacy to replace your validly prescribed medication with a placebo. This tablet contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, having been on it for so many years, your body could be building up tolerance to it and you may need to switch ...

Hydros say IP 109 and Naproxen says IP 190 ## Hi amanda, Thanks for clearing up any confusion between the two pills! From what I could gather, another differentiating factor is that Naproxen's tablet also has "500" imprinted on the other side of IP 190; whereas with Hydrocodone/Apap, IP 109 is the only imprint. Naproxen 500mg (NDC 65162-0190): Ref: DailyMed Hydrocodone/Apap 5mg-325mg (NDC 53746-109): Ref: DailyMed Hope this helps! ## Is "ip190" and "tramadol hcl 50mg" the same thing?

I take methadone hcl 10 MG tab for Fibromyalgia. I have hydrocortisone Apap 7.5 325MG tab as a backup to help when the pain gets too intense. But I'm out of town and I'm out of methadone. I have hydroco. My question to you is, how many hydroco do I need to take a day to equal to the methadone. I'm take the methadone 4 times a day. ## There is really no way to compare the two and give you an equivalent dosage. It also doesn't contain Hydrocortisone, the narcotic opiate in it is Hydrocodone. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, it may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. How often have you been told to take the Hydrocodone? What are the prescribing instructions?

I am suppose to be taking Lortab 10 but, on my bottle this is written 90hcodone/APAP *10/500M and under the number 90 isTAC capsule shape is white oblong with M363 ## The tablets you've received are a generic for Lortab, they contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, this is a narcotic analgesic. This means they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Lortab details here. Another note I'd like to add is that as of 2013, the FDA has made a request that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in these combination prescription products to no more than 325mgs per dose. There are severe concerns about the dangers of liver damage and failure that can be ...

Can someone ID a small oval pill with 1p 110 inscribed on it? The package says 10/325 on back. ## I think its a Hydrocodone/APAP 10mg Hydrocodone and 325mg APAP. ## This could actually be the Hydrocodone/APAP, which the brand name is Norco, or this could be Oxycodone/APAP, which the brand name is Percocett. It means that you have either 10 miligrams of hydrocodone or 10 miligrams of oxycodone, and only 325 milligrams of tylenol, which is the least amount of tylenol that they prescribe with these. It depends on the color and any othe rmarkings of the pill, which one you have. It is a pain killer. ## The correct marking is actually IP 110 (not 1P 110), and randolph is correct, it is Acetaminophen / Hydrocodone 10 / 325 mg. (NDC 50268-408 among others)

Have you had problems with the Hydrocodone? The Oxycodone is stronger, 6.67mgs of it is equal to 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, but if the Hydrocodone works well for you, then there would really be no reason to change your medications. ## had broken my ankel and have 9 pins and a plate was fiven oxycodone/acetaminophen 5-325mg tab is that equivalent to hydrocodone/apap 5 mg/500mg tabs ## HYDROCONE BARELY HELPS A TOOTH ACHE OXYCODONE HELPS REAL PAIN
