I have just been prescribed this for Raynauds. 5mgs 3 times a day. Any idea how long before they begin to take effect? Another sleepless night with the pain from blue fingers. Never known any pain like this. Can't even tie a shoelace. Wearing 2 gloves on the affected hand and a hot water bottle but doesn't seem to be helping. Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can give. ## Hello, Lisa! How are you doing? Has there been any change? It may take 5 to 6 weeks, before this medication reaches its full level of effectiveness in your body. It's typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension, as reported by the FDA. That's odd for Raynaud's, it usually affects both hands at the same time, or both feet. Are you on an...

I have stuffed sinus .. cough and are tired/weak. I have amox/K Clav 500-125 .. would it be helpful towards these symptoms?? How many pre day should I take? ## Amoxicillin is a antibotic. It is used to treat bacterial infections. A cold is a viral infection, so it would do no good. ## @Becky Burnside, BL is correct, the Amoxicillin will not be effective for the cold. If I can recommend anything, it would be to intake as many fruits/vegetables as possible (especially citrus fruits due to their high vitamin C content!). Also, water with real lemon juice is a really easy way to build your immune system and should definitely help to fight off the cold sooner. I've read that it's most beneficial to drink the amount of water (in ounces) that is equal to half of your body weight. For ex...

I have a two year old prescription of amoxicillin from the dentist that I barely even touched. Now I'm showing syptoms of an UTI because I never drink any water. Would it be safe to take now? ## Hello Mike! How are you feeling? The first step to take would be to start drinking some water regularly. It is actually a misconception that you need to drink 8 8ounce glasses a day. That is the total amount of fluid your body needs for the day, but you do get a lot of it from your food and other beverages, so even adding just a glass or two of water can help. It is especially important for flushing out your kidneys, if you continue to avoid water, you may find yourself in kidney failure eventually. As to the Amoxicillin, medications lose effectiveness over time, so it will most likely not b...

My Hydrocodone got wet. Is it still effective? ## How wet did it get? I mean where they soaked in water for a few minutes, or did some just splash on it? Either way, if it was just water, the effectiveness is going to depend on whether or not any of the pill started to dissolve. If it did, then you may not receive all of the dosage and may notice diminished effectiveness. Is there anything else I can help with?

How do I take Fluimucil 600. They ar too big for me to swallow. Are they effective for clearing the Alveoli where there is inflammation and fibrosis ## Fluimucil is an effervescence tablet... You should dissolve it in 1/3 glass of water, then drink... It is not advisable to mix or crush the drug sine it will just dissolve by itself... ## where can I buy fluimucil? Is there a site where it is freely available?. ## what happens if by mistake someone take the pill without water ## BY MISTAKE I DRINK WITHOUT WATER. I'm interested in finding out the side effects and effectiveness of Chemet. My son and I are supposed to start on it for lead detox. ## It's a heavy metal chelating agent, which means it's used to remove them from the body, since heavy amounts of them can be toxic and lead, as I am sure you're well aware, can be especially dangerous. Possible side effects may include: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and eye watering. Learn more Chemet details here. Are there any other questions?

please let me know how to use this vial. with water or without water ## I have oncosten vials but I don't know how to use & tell me about his quality how much it's effectiveness ## Dr. suggested me oncosten vials. I want to know how much time this vials gives to increase sperm count? ## Oncosten is listed as being nothing more than a nutritional supplement that is usually taken to help ensure that you get the proper amount of vitamins, and minerals to keep your body in the best health possible. Ref: Vitamin Supplement information According to the package directions that I found, you just swallow the contents of each vial, as is, without adding anything, or diluting. Do you have reason to believe you are deficient in one, or more, of the nutrients it contains.

Myrin P Forte Can Be Taken With milk? ## Myrin-P Forte contains Ethambutol, Rifampicin, INH and Pyrazinamide, it is used to treat TB. To be most effective, it should be taken on an empty stomach, 1 hour before, or 2 hours after meals and, generally, that would mean taking it with only water. Milk can coat the stomach and affect the absorption of some medications. If it irritates your stomach, you can take it with antacids. Are there any other questions? ## Will the effect of yaz pills be lesse. if you are on a myrin forte treatment?

Hi I was wondering, what at do you guys think about putting the suboxone in about a tablespoon of water and let it dissolve over night and then put it under your tongue from the spoon? I just cannot stand the taste and I am trying to speed up the absorption process... Tell me what you guys think. ## If you can tolerate having a mouthful of liquid instead of just your saliva, and you keep it there long enough, it should work, not as well as when dissolved only in saliva mind you, as water is going to take with it big part. Instead try to wet your mouth first, if you find that you run out of saliva during the process, and then take the pill, put it under your tongue. No other effective way exists i think. If the dose is high enough with 2mg usually i get a warming feeling in the head, whi...

I started sucralfate 1 gram and because I have difficulty swallowing large tablets I cut it into 4 pieces. I wonder since I should not take it with food, can I take it with milk or juice? ## For the best results and dispersion in the body, it is always best to take a medication with a full, 8 ounce glass of water, unless your doctor or pharmacist has directed otherwise, according to FDA directions. The typical side effects of this medication are listed as possibly including drowsiness, seizures, diarrhea, dizziness, indigestion, and skin rash. I was taking lo loestrin 24 fe for almost 2 years and it was switched to minastrin 24 fe, so I have been taking the new version of it for 4 months now. it's chewable so I chew it everyday at the same time. but it says to take it with a glass of water and I don't do that. I just chew it and take a sip of water. is it still effective if I don't drink the 8oz glass of water after it? ## Hello, Kayla! How are you? Yes, that won't alter its efficacy, but you should drink the water to aid your own digestive system. The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with? ## yes, If I've been taking it for about 4 months with little or no per...

I didn't have time to take my Ritalin this morning so I put it in a napkin and shoved it in my purse as I walked out the door. Unfortunately my water spilled and got in contact with the pill. The napkin did nothing to protect it and the pill got wet, There was a small amount of dissolving that occurred, The imprint and mg can not be read, Will it still work? ## They have worked for me when I spilled water like the graceful dove I am. ## @Lucy, From what I could gather, the 20mg tablets are considered to be water-soluble, but they should still work even if only part of it was disintegrated. At least it only happened with one pill and not the entire prescription. In my opinion, the only real concern is that it may not be as effective since you wouldn't necessarily be taking a ...

what can i take for tonsole infection. ## There is always the option of antibiotics; but I would recommend a natural remedy if you don't want to deal with possible side effects. You can try the options below before you look into taking antibiotics if need be. But this should be enough to get the job done in most cases if done consistently: Gargle with hot salt water at least two to three times daily. Adding honey to your gurgle water will help with inflammation. Also making a paste out of honey and turmeric powder to put on your tonsils will be of great help. If this initial treatment doesn't appear to be effective then I would suggest making an appointment with your doctor. Is there anything else I can help you with?

Can Fosamax be taken in the evening - 1 hr before bed? I am taking protonix every morning 1 hr before breakfast, and would not feel well all day if I didn't. So the question is, can I take Fosamax later on after breakfast and before lunch, or between lunch and dinner, or even after dinner, 30-60 minutes before going to bed? ## Hello, Frumu! How are you? No, for Fosomax to be effective, the FDA directions say it must be taken upon arising in the morning, at least half an hour before having any other food, beverage or medication, other than plain water. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, abdominal pain, skin rash and chest pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

My phentermine medication got slightly wet -are they still effective? ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? They aren't time released, so they should be, but a tiny amount of the medication may have been lost, if they started to disintegrate. In the future, it would be best to keep your medications away from water sources and store them in a cool, dry, dark area. This medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I just realised that my 100mg/60 tab spironolactone/aldactone got slightly wet by normal drinking water, I took it out and air dried along with the sachet, most of the pill form changed slightly abit due to it being mushy on the outer layer when i was trying to transfer the pills to dry it. My Oxycodone 30 mg blue pills got wet, they dried out & now are twice the size they should be & no writing is on them. My question is of they are still as effective as before they got wet? ## as long as it was water, you are fine. There might be a shorter time release bc the membrane might be worn or more porous. ## They also may not be effective, if the water started causing some of the Oxycodone to be released. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have stuffed nose, ears hurt, throat scratchy, eyes watery feel blah can I take cipro for that?is this a respitory infection? ## Hello, Tammy! How are you? Only a doctor can tell you if you have a respiratory infection. Is your nose running? If so, is it yellow or green? If not, then it is not a sinus infection. You may just be dealing with a cold or allergies. This medication is only effective at treating bacterial infections. Its typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

I have had loose motions since yesterday with pain and gas. I took a lot of tablets and drinking a lot of water but no use. Now the motion is purely water and the pain is on and off. Please tell me what medication i should use. ## Have you seen a doctor? This really sounds like it could be a virus or food poisoning and, depending on the severity, you may need some medical treatment to rectify the problem and prevent dehydration. As to medications, I don't know what you have already tried, nor do I know where you are located, so I don't know what is available for you. Usually, to treat the diarrhea, products that contain Loperamide are quite effective. You should, however, continue with the increased fluid intake, to help prevent the dehydration. ## I have taken nor floxtz medici...

Wut if any drug out there is similar /comparable to Oxymorphone?? ## Not precisely; the best alternatives are oxycodone & hydromorphone in the US with the addition of the absolutely superb dipipanone (Diconal) in the UK. A 10mg average oxymorphone dose would require 30mg Diconal to give the equivalent analgesia. Before changing to IR Oxycodone I took the 120mg Oxycontin twelve hourly but as its duration of action is only 6 or 8 hours at most, required rescue meds and dipipanone was by some way the most effective. I am looking for an oxymorphone IR 10mg source myself for a change of scenery but find it impossible to get from any US pharmacy sent over the water. I have been taking oral Cytoxan100 mg/daily for 5 weeks and I have another 7 weeks ahead. I was wondering if anyone has taken this treatment and if the side effects will get better? I am taking the drug for advanced stage Nile Disease (Minimal Change Disease) and am dealing with water retention anyway - but with the drug it is very hard to control - and the water pill (2x 20g Torsemite/daily) is no longer effective as before. But the worst is the nausea that does not go away - I am taking Ondansetron - and it keeps me from vomiting, but all day long with - very short breaks - I feel nausea, bloating in my stomach, and overall live my days in a fog. I have returned to work and it is just miserable to just get through the day. In the evening I have no engery and usually go to bed around 7...
