I goto pain management and get prescribe 60 lortab 5's a month. So I run out in the half of the month do to my pain. But I end up buying subutex to were I won't get sick for the rest of the time being, until I go back to the doctor. But how long does subutex stay in your system? Thelast time iI did something was this morning and it was less then a quarter. But I usually do that amount twice a day. But I go to the doctor on the 23rd of this month and don't need to have that in my system. I have to only have loratab. Can anyone please help me, like asap? ## Treat the doctor like a collegue. i go to a pain clinic and I go once a month well they forgot to make me an appointment for this month when I called to check to see when it was so they made me one for a week away because of my insurance reason I have been on loratabs for six years and then they put me on morphine sul 15 mg every twelve hours the day they made my appointmet I was out of my meds I went one and a half days with out taking anything and I was in bad pain and I started getting with draws I have degenerated spine disease and four bulging discs I had some loatabs 5/325 and I started taking them but when I go to the doctors on Wednesday I will have to take a urine test and I am afraid if they find the loratabs in my system they will discharge me I am only suppose to taking morphine sul 15 my every twelve hours ...

im taking loratab 10/500. i have 5mg left. i go to my pain management doc on thurs. i already got tested last month and came out neg. i want to make sure it comes out positive this month. my appt at 3:15pm. when should i take to make sure it is in my urine by my appt time. ## Hi summer, Since Oxycodone can be detected in your urine for up to 3-4 days after your last dose, I would think that taking any within 48 hours of the urine test would be sufficient for a positive result. If you have a quick metabolism and drink plenty of water throughout the day, you may even want to try taking one within 24 hours of your drug test, as Oxycodone is excreted through urine. i took 2 10 mg loratab 1 monday 1 tuesday i have a drug test at 9 am in the morning will i pass? ## It is somewhat doubtful, most narcotics will take about 48 hours to completely clear out of your system, but it can vary, depending on how long you have been taking it and at how high of a dosage. If you have a prescription for the medication, then all you have to do is inform them of this, when you go in for the test. They cannot deny you the use of a legally prescribed medication. Are there any questions or comments? ## Do they actually check to see if you have a prescription if you dont have the bottle or anything?

I heard that opiates can come out of your system within 3 days? Is this true? ## This is not necessarily true, there are some that can last longer, including Fentanyl, especially if you've been taking them for a long period of time in increasingly higher doses. I was just curious how long this is in my system for a urine test. I been taking 4 10 mg. loratab for years for broke back. This month I ran out. I got urine test in 5 days will it still be in my system as needed for urine test? ## The chances of hydrocodone (lortab) being detected in urine after not taking for 5 days is slim to none. Lortab is fast acting and leaves the system quite quickly. Sorry. ## Pain can be variable. As a virtually undiagnosable "migraine" victim, I know. I could go from 0 pain to Dilaudid 4mg pain within 24 hours. (Turns out I had pieces of 12 disparate diagnoses. Since I'm a shrink, too, my two shrinks insisted I participate in the tx plan, which was a good move. Miraculously, they disappeared with only one recurrence about 10 years ago.) Most docs aren't orgres and Hydrocodone isn't a world-class analgesic...

I am new to the butran patch. 10mcg per day. Can I take my 10 mg x2 q6hrs for the first couple of days after placing the patch on. I have read that it sometimes takes a few days at the beginning of this therapy for the butran to begin to build up in your system and become effective. ## Hello, Gaye! How are you? No, analgesics don't really work that way, it will start to relieve pain as soon as it starts to enter your body, it will just take a day or so to hit a full and continuous effectiveness level. And I wouldn't advise taking any additional medications, unless your doctor tells you that it is safe for you to do so. Depending on your tolerance level, you could end up overdosing yourself. is there a chance you will test positve for cocaine after taking lortabs for an extended peroid!!! I am currently taking Oramorph, Loratab, Zanaflex, Baclofen, Zanax, Omeprazole, Phenegran, Lonox. For some strange reason when I took a urine test it showed I had high levels of Dilaudid in my system. I really need some one to help me figure this out. ## It is probably caused by the oramorph, as dilaudid is hydro-morphone and is a morphine/opiate just as dilaudid ## Yes, Dilaudid is the pill form for heroin. It is probably the Oromorph, which is morphine.

I take 10 mg Lexapro, 3 mg Melatonin, and Loratab 10/500 daily and tested pos for Benzo.. .
