My name is Barb. If I take half of a 0.5mg of Ativan this morning & have a drug test (UA) in two days, and I continue to hydrate myself, do u think I will pass the UA? I'm on a private drug program. My anxiety is severe. I have to breakdown to take a small amount. But I risk getting in trouble if I'm tested dirty for Ativan / Benzos. What's your opinion??? Please help. ## You should be good cause benzos like xanax are out of your system in 9-13 days if you only take it on 1 occasion and do not take them several times a week. I have been reading if it is only a urine test it should be outta your system in 22 hours tops which really surprised me. It is the fastest actting benzo so if you are not taking on a daily basis and that was the only occasion, you should be golden! I know all this infromation based on personal experience and you should not stress. I was rushed to the hospital this past monday and they gave me ativan. I got a drug test for probation tomorrow. I have to take a drug test next week, ( in seven days), and took 2 mg of Ativan. I was wondering if it will show in a urine test. I am 165 lbs and have a reasonably high metabolism. ## After 7 days, no it should not show in a urine test, thought it will be detectable much longer in blood, tissue or hair tests. If yo have a valid prescription, all you have to do though is tell them that when you go in for the test. How long will 10 mg of Ativan stay in my urine? I used it only once. ## Approximately 48 to 72 hours, after taking it, before it processes out. This would be for standard urine test. If you have a prescription, then you just need to inform them of this, when you go in to have the test. Does water sweating and niacin help? ## Ativan (Benzodiazepine) can take as long as 1-6wks to go undetected in your urine. Certainly the lesser of the two if you've only taken it a couple of times. In my opinion you should be fine as long you're drinking lots of water (preferably lemon water) & exercising till you sweat each day in between. Fruits, veggies, & wheatgrass shots will also help detox your body, so I'd also suggest staying on top of that as often as you can. i took 2 mg of Ativan today, i have been clean of all drugs for the last 7 weeks up until this 2mg dose. i will most likely be tested in 7 days, i workout daily and drink around 2-3 quarts of water a day, I'm around 193lbs with 15%bf and stand 6feet 2inches tall. will i pass the test or will i fail it. its a urine test, and it says that the cutoff for benzodiazapines is 300 ng/ml ( don't know if that will help you give me a better answer or not) Thankyou for your time ## Hi, there. I tested positive for valium on a urine test but havent been on them for four months; but had two shots of ativan about 18 days before my drug test. I take three 1 mg Lorazepam (Ativan) each day. I also take three 7.5 hydrocodone daily and bp meds, cholesterol meds antacid, Mobic and benadryl - all daily. I had to take a drug screen for my dr because the two controlled sub must show up in my system for him to keep prescribing them to me. The Lorazepam (he said should have shown up as a benzo) was not in my system for a urine screening or blood test.
