How Long Can I Take A Pain Pill After Suboxone

I've been on suboxone for four years and I've been taking about a quarter of a strip everyday .. My last dose was at 11:30 this morning .. So my question is how long should I wait to take a hydrcodone? ## You usually have to wait at least 72 hours, unless your doctor instructs otherwise. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic and warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. I have been on one 8mg suboxone strip everyday for 3 months how long should I wait to take my pain pills from hurting my knee I have 30 mg Percs ## When I switched from Percocet 10 mg to Suboxone, the doctor told me to wait at least 20 hours between the doses. Ok I have been given a prescription of norco 7.5. I have been on subs since Dec 2013, 8mg a day. Is it safe to take them when they pull my tooth? ## It will not help with your pain until you stop Suboxone for at least 48 hours, and even with that you might get limited relief. ## Steph77 is right it's a complete waste, you should probably just take an extra 4mg of sub that's what my doc told me to do and it worked call your doc and see what he says. ## Ok so it did work with the extra 4mg. I have been off of roxys for about 3 weeks now. I have been taking suboxone daily. I started passing kidney stones. So I took only one Roxy to help with the pain. Thankfully I passed my stone. I took my last pain meds @ 5 am today and I plan on taking suboxone until I'm able to make it to my appointment. It's 8mg and I know I shouldn't take the whole thing. So i got 2 8mg/2mg strips to try because i have a slight dependency to vicodin which i normally take 15 to 30mgs of a day for a little over a year for chronic skeletal back and neck pain do to sever early on set arthritis. I have been on 8 mg/2mg Suboxone strips for 1 year. I am having a tooth (back molar) extraction in the morning. I used my Suboxone strip this morning & the tooth extraction is at 9:30 am tomorrow. If I don't use another Suboxone strip before the extraction, would I be able to take Hydrocodone after my surgery? I went on pain management because I have a lot of medical problems that caused me severe pain. I still suffer from pain. The suboxone helps take the edge off the pain, sometimes.
