I do not see the answers to this question. You have to be in full blown withdrawals. I wanted something to get of 40 mg of oxycodone and then the doctor told me I could have withdrawals if I took too soon so your going to be in withdrawals anyway. Im scared. What kind of drug can you take so you don't get that opioid withdrawal syndrome. Wish sounds as about as scary as withdrawals ## Tunpuli, Well no matter how you proceed you will have to experience some level of Withdrawl Before you can transition to one of these ORT medications. It is highly advisable to seek care with a trained medical provider so they Can initiate treatment at the appropriate time.Good luck in this new Phase of your life. ## @tupuli, Re: "how long after taking zubsolv can you use opiate" With all due r...

If I took a zubsolv this AM can I safely take an opana tonight? ## @big a, Depending on how much you took and how frequently you take Zubsolv, it seems like most comments on here recommend waiting at least a few days before you can feel the full effects of something like Opana. This is mainly due to buprenorphine's long half-life of anywhere between 24 to 60 hours (at which point half of what you took is still working in your system). However if it was just a one time thing, I'd imagine that you probably wouldn't have to wait quite as long. Does anyone else have personal experience switching from Zubsolv to an opiate after short term use? ## I'm taking zubsolv and want to know if I can still take my fioricet for my headaches. Without bad side effects...... ## Yes you can...

I have been on opiates for years and ran out of my meds and waited 36 hrs and felt withdraws then I took a 5.7 zubsolv, how long do I have to wait now to be able to take a Norco again? ## Hello, April! How are you? Unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you have to wait about 3 days. Ok I came on this website looking for the answer. I took a half a zubsolv at 9:30 yesterday morning, it is now 10:00 the next morning. I still wasn't in full blown withdrawal but i was kinda feeling the stomach cramps and leg cramps so i just took a half a dilaudid and i felt relief, but granted it was my first time taking a zubsolv and i only took half but after 24 hours and 30 minutes it worked just fine :) ## Okay, so I am new to this Zubsolv thing and I took a 5.7/1.4 tablet at about 130. It's been 20 hrs since I used an opiate. I took a zubsolv at 6:00am this morning, how long will it block opiates ## Hi hollywood, According to the FDA, "Buprenorphine's average elimination half-life from plasma ranges from 24-42 hours, and Naloxone's is anywhere from 2-12 hours". Ref: accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/label/2013/204242s000lbl.pdf With that said, not only will it depend on how much you took, but also how long you've been taking it for.. or if this was just a one time thing for you? However you can also use the half life to try and estimate about how long each dose will be most active in your system, because after the time frame of each half life listed above, you're essentially going to end up with "half of what you originally took" and then "half of that remaining half"...

I've been on zubsolv 5.7 for 6 months and I'm getting myself down to a quarter of a pill a day. I'll take a quarter of one for 6 days and I'll run out. Does anyone how how long the withdraw and the half life will last? ## Hello, Joe! How are you? The withdrawal can vary from person to person, because much of it depends on your own body chemistry, so there's no precise time frame I can give you for that. Hi all. I was prescribed opiates for 2 years. Taking 5-7 30mg pill a day. I would take about 15mg every 2 hours and sometimes I would take a 30mg. I went to see a doctor about 4 months back and she prescribed me Zubsolv. Two 5.7 a day. I was on it for 2 weeks and got extremely depressed and switched back to the blue opiates. 4 months later, im trying to stop this horrible addiction and started taking my left over Zubsolvs. This is my 3rd day. Ive been taking 1/2 in the AM and another 1/2 in the PM and feel fine with some minor depression but OK. My questions is how long should I take this for? I don't want to get hooked on these and I know Zubsolv withdrawals are much worse the opiate withdrawals. My doctor wanted me on them for a few months and I said no and stopped going. My plan ...

Can you take Gabapentin with Zubsolv safely? I have been on Gabapentin for a while now but just started taking Zubsolv for opiate addiction and don't know if it's safe to take together. ## Yes, you can take Neurotin with the Zubsolve. I take both daily. ## They can be taken together, as Deanna has stated, but the FDA does warn that combining may result in more severe symptoms of respiratory depression, such as drowsiness, dizziness, sedation. You should also be aware to watch for extreme drowsiness, shallow breathing, and other signs of respiratory distress. Is your doctor aware that you are taking both of them? It is always important that you be properly monitored, for your health and safety.

I'm taking Zubsolv 1.4/0.36 once a day for my chronic back pain(injury). It only lasts about 12 hrs. The first few times I used it I got a numbing sensation in my mouth. I continued since I 've not had anything for my back pain in several months. I'm disappointed that this not giving me more relief. Haas anyone started c this does and increased due to not giving you relief for your pain? I was on subutex 8mg and ive been reading about these new subutexs with the 8 and the arrow on them. I got a different kind there zubsolv 5.7 mg/1.4 mg? I take zubsolv daily. Have been for years. Recently broke a bone and was prescribed pain meds that are opiates. How long should I wait to take one for pain and it work right? Hurting so bad. ## Just take the Zubsolv and don't bother with the 5mg Oxycodone or Vicodin that they will give you for the pain. The Beup in Zubsolve is a lot stronger than what they prescribe after surgeries. I broke a bone and had to be operated on. I didn't tell them about my history so when I came to after the procedure, I was thrashing around in my hospital bed because the amount of pain I was in. The meds they gave me would suffice for a normal person and not an abuser. The Zubsolv will hepl with the pain for sure. I have had back pain for 10 years and feel fine on Zubsolv.
