Prescribed 2 tablets Homocheck daily as Homocysteine is 20.03. Want to reduce homocysteine as I have a stenosis in right carotid ICA which caused TIA in June, 2010. LDL is 148, HDL is 43, VLDL is 23 and Triglycerides 117. 1)How many days to take Homocheck? 2)Any Vitamin B12 brand available made with methylcobolamin insead of cyanocobalamin? Thank you. ## My Doctor has prescribed me one tablet a day. Primarily to reduce cholesterol levels. Earlier I was taking Finolip 145. I am taking homochek tabs since 3 years.what are side effects occurs.very long period intake of this tabs may effect. ## This is just a nutritional supplement, so it is fine to take, unless your doctor instructs otherwise, as long as you don't exceed the recommended dosage. The U.S. FDA warns that it may cause nausea in some people that take it, due to its potency. Is there anything else I can help with?
