Hard Stool

I took Miralax daily for 7 days after a bad bout of constipation and stopped after it made my stools too soft. It's been 5 days since I took it and my stools are still very irregular- they're sticky and long, and far too soft. I normally have very hard stools. I've been eating healthy and plenty but I haven't gone much since Friday morning, and I normally go each morning. hese pills were found loose in a drawyer. It is possible that someone in the family injested 2 of them in error. I would just like to know what they are for sure. Previosly there were Ibuprofen tabs in this drawer however I have ruled these pills out as Ibuprofen ## These aren't listed in our U.S. prescription drug databases, which makes me suspect that they are something available over the counter. If that is the case, it may be hard to track down exactly what they are, because those products aren't required to list their imprints with the FDA. Will lomitol harden stools or just slow down quantity and frequency? I have permanent coloscopy (about a foot removed)and some days I poop most of day. I take 2 in am and 2 in pm. Also take Imodium around 6/7 tabs daily. This combination helps but some days I still produce a little at a time. ## I reside in Fort Mill South Carolina. Constipation -- rare, random, evidence of hard stool pebbles. Please provide normal dosage of docqplace (100 softgel form - 100 mg) ## This is an over the counter item and the package instructions say that adults should take 1 to 3 softgels with an 8ounce glass of water. This should not be used for more than a week, as your body could become dependent on it. You should speak to your doctor to rule out other problems that may be causing constipation.

I'm having a really hard time with my hemorroid. I have external hemorroid and whenever I go to the bathroom its always coming out even if my stool is soft. As possible I don't want to undergo an operation. Is there any other way to treat my hemorroid aside from taking Hemo Rid? Your response will be a big help.

I have been on Linzess for about 9 months. It was working really well until about a month ago. Now my stools are like small rocks and hard to pass. I sometimes go several times a day but only small amounts at a time. I take 290mcgs every morning at least 30 minutes before I eat. It's usually over an hour before I eat anything. in april, 2010 i had an accident, hard pain around the waist line are at the back. i referred doctor , he give me 4 tablets : Rablet 20, rexipra 16mg, scalebenz and ultrum, after one week there were some side effects like little shaking of hand, blurred vision, stool coming out like water and then after 10 days the stool became very hard, then we went to the doctor second time, he said how is the back pain, i said its fine so from that four tablets he told you only need to eat two tablets : scalebenz and rexipra but due to side effects i have to live it, please suggest me ?

The 290 gave me severe diarrhea and cramps but lower soaw no bm I tried waiting a day then take again had horrible round hard stool a few of them passed only with manipulation and bleeding so I took same day the 290 and nothing but can feel it there making it difficult to sit or walk. ## I'm sorry, perhaps I am not understanding you. You said you did not have a BM, but also say it gave you severe diarrhea, and diarrhea is having a BM, even though it is runny and likely not your usual consistency. Can you please clarify? Did you make sure to take it correctly, which is a half hour, before eating, or drinking anything else? Diarrhea can be a normal side effect of Linzess, along with nausea, cramping, and flatulence.

What pain medications are safe to take on Contrave? I have been taking Tylenol arthritis and glucosamine daily and am now starting the 2 and 2 this week. That's really the only way you are going to be able to get a proper diagnosis and treatment options. Anything given from just the limited information in your post would just be guess work. What have you already tried? ## Strongly suggest you get your blood/liver tested. Hope all is well. ## Tarry stools are indicative of blood in them. You could have internal bleeding which would also cause anemia and tiredness. You need to see a doctor a.s.a.p.

I am looking for the name of a Laxative. They are hard deep red coloured round pills. Aprox 7mm across. It was a laxative but came off the shelves in the UK about 10-12 years ago. I heard they may have rebranded with a herbal version. They came in a foil blister pack. I think the outer packaging was green and the name began with a N although i cant be sure of this. ## Were they shaped like an american football? There is a medicine for stool softening agent, slightly gentler than a laxative, called colace that matches your description. it is sold over the counter in the USA, and you can research this to see if it matches what you seek.

I found a brown round pill in my wife's purse, it is a darker brown almost a little purple with three white numbers? on it. I think they say 215 or Z15, not sure, hard to read ## the pill marked AZ 217 is sennosides 8.6 MG tablet used for laxative. very gentle. also used as a stool softner. compare to SENOKOT from durg store shelf. ## hey i found a small brown pill that seems to have darker spots in it. it is medium brown with dark speckles all in it and it says "01 215" on one side of it.
