People should not be thinking that 1mg of xanax dyed blue would be any different, strength wise to the same amount of alprazolam using green dye. Xanax is a life saver! I've always had social anxiety and trouble speaking in groups of people, now i have no problem! Is there a green football shaped Xanax? ## Yes, there are some, however, since the shape and color mean nothing, the only way to tell is from the actual markings on the tablet in question. For insance, one marking on such a tablet is: S 902, which is a 1mg tablet There are also many tablets on the market that are green and football shaped, but contain other medications completely unrelated to Xanax. Unexplained bruised skin since the green football shaped ## That is a very rare side effect and you might want to bring this up with your MD ## @Jocelyn, I think Eddy could be right about this being rare, as I'm not seeing 'bruises' specifically listed on general drug monographs. Information I'm finding on pubmedhealth shows that "blistering, crusting, irritation, itching, peeling, or reddening of the skin" is related to an allergic reaction. However, in this case it sounds like something else altogether. A couple of the other symptoms I noticed on their side effect list are "hives or welts" and "yellow skin". green football xanax ## I cannot post pictures, due to copyright reasons. There are, however, several green tablets on the market that contain Alprazolam and meet this description. The only way to tell for certain if that is what it is, is from the markings on the tablet. Some include: XANAX 1.0 (This would be the name brand!) I jus filled my rx of xanax 1mg tabs. I got the green footballs with the S 902 on them. I don't know if it's just me, but these do not seem as strong as the blue footballs. I have been told that xanax is being phased out due to cost. It is a benzodiazepine and it is a green diamond shaped pill. What is it? ## The cost of Alprazolam is next to nothing. I took these 2mg Alprazolam bars, like a lot of you said- the generic for Xanax. I have taken generics for tons of meds over the yrs & I've never had this happen. But, I swear I had other people at the pharmacy say the white 2mg Alprazolams do NOT work well. I was on half the dose b 4, getting the 1mg "footballs" (people call em that) and I swear 1 of the 1mg Alprazolams worked WAY better for me. I've also hears if you get the 2mg bars, ask them for the green or yellow. They've worked much better than the white bars. Good luck. The g should b capitalized G3722. I've seen a few fake ones, made by those single pill presses that have all of the bars shaped xanax imprints and ive been screwed once or twice.
