A doctor said that Metformin at times creates deficiency of Vitamin B12 resulting in loss of haemoglobin. My mother is diabetic and B12, folic acid deficient. The medication for B12 and Folic acid did not show satisfactory result after one month because Glycomet was being taken along with them. How far is it correct? Thanks in advance.

Is any adverse effect of glycomet gp 2 forte on kidney function reported ! ## It is possible, other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence, stomach pain, and hypoglycemia, according to the NIH. if a diabetic person taking glycomet gp2 forte before dinner observe metformin part come out with stool in the morning what conclusion may be drwan about absorption of the medicine in the body.pl guide. ## The Metformin is actually slowly released into your body, to give better blood sugar control for a longer period of time. Basically what you saw in your stool was just the outer shell of the pill, but the medication was still released into your body, just as it should be. The entire tablet isn't meant to be dissolved and broken down, so seeing it in your stool is perfectly normal. Is there anything else I can help with?
