my blood sugar is 10 mmol/l fasting and I am taking Gemer 2 drug. I find this to be on the higher side. About two hours after meals it ranges from 7mmol/l-13mmo/l. I am taking "GEMER 1" Tablets, as I am diaognised as "TYPE 2 Diabetes Patient", but its been now almost 10 Months & I feel very lazy at times during the day or night & my both legs pains. I take one tablet in the morning before Breakfast & one tablet in the night. Want your advise if I am taking the right medicine as priscribed by my Doctor or should I change my medication or should I increase my dosage. For 3 Months or so when my "GEMER 1" Tablets were finished, the doctor told me to take "GEMER 2", half in the morning & half in the night. Hello, my sugar level had been 25.8 last week in the morning before eating anything, and my doctor said that i am diabetic, however he has made me do some test and waiting for my report, he has given me Gemer 2 twice a day at an interval of 12 hr from the first use, however I asked him if i can take it after meals as it would have been difficult for me to have them before meals, he agreed to it and advised me to take it 30 mins after my meal, and currently my sugar level in the morning before eating is 11.5, wanted to confirm if this is fine and is there any need to change anything. Dear Doctor, Myself Rattan Singh Mahal very kindly ask your help as my son is suffering from Diabetes. His age is 33 and his name is Gurpal Singh Mahal. He is taking Gemer 1 tablet 3 times a day. He is having pain on right leg earlier and now it is on left leg. When his sugar is less i e 80 he is having pain and sugar reaches 140 there is no pain. sometimes the sugar reaches 240 if he takes more intake. my sugar level is 210 fasting and 330 ppb i have been advised Gemer 2 and Tri Glynase 1 in place of melmet SR.advice me if any side effects of the above drugs ## All medications carry the risk of side effects, however, the risk is much greater if you let your blood sugar continue to be uncontrolled. Gemer-2 contains 2mgs of Glimepiride and 500mgs of Metformin, both of which are oral antidiabetic agents. Dear Doctor my mother is 64 and is diabetic previously she was taking Glutide CR 30 one tablet in the morning only and nothing during the day for the last 5years, recently the doctor changed the tablet to Gemer 1 this is effecting her in the morning when she take the tablet it makes her feels lathargic and as if slow down, only after 10minutes of taking breakfast she feels relaxed. kindly advice what to do. ## It contains Metformin and Glimepiride and when is she taking it? Please let me know at the earliest. ## The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, flatulence, diarrhea, and hypoglycemia. However, your levels are very high, so you face far greater risk from that, than you do from taking the medications. Letting them continue to run that high could result in severe organ damage.
