Is this Percocet time released? ## Hello, Nana! How are you? This one with the logo and 230 on it is manufactured by Alvogen and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

what is the differance of this yellow round 230 10/325 percocet to the football shape 10/325 yellow ## I can't be completely certain, since you didn't provide the markings from both tablets, so I am basing my answer on just your post… That said, from what you've said, the only difference, if they are indeed the same medication in the same dosage, would be that they've both been manufactured by different companies. Learn more Percocet details here. Once a medication such as this is available as a generic, it is usually made by several different companies and each will have different markings, so it can be identified in case of emergency. I take Percocet all the time every 6 hours. This time i noticed the pill was round instead of oblong and has 230 on one side. This pill is worthless, I feel absolutely nothing. NO PAIN RELIEF AT ALL. This pill is a fake, a sugar pill or something. I paid $91 dollars cash for this, now i'm broke with no medication. There is no medical properties in this pill what so ever. I've been ripped off like some common drug pusher. How do I live now? The first thing I should do is call the FBI, then the FDA and the police too. ## What do I do? who cares?,Whom do I contact next? signed left in pain. Just got these pills from my pharmacy after getting long white ones with the imprint m523 on it which by the way I love. But these new ones from alvogen are absolutely horrible!! I am still in a lot of pain and the feeling I get from them are next to nothing like the m523. I am wondering if the pharmacy will exchange them for me if they have my old ones in stock? Anyone know the answer to this? Thank you in advance. ## I am very sorry that they aren't working for you. However no, your pharmacy can't exchange them, so to speak, because once you leave the building with them, they can't take them back, as tampering is a concern. Yes, it's a oxycodone 10mgs used for pain from a doctor and is only given by a doctor unless you find it on the streets and in that case can be very harmful to yourself. I've been on them after having my son when they had to get him out with a C/section I was taking two so 20mgs at a time and even with being on them a short period of time when I did get off of them I went through VERY painful withdrawal that I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy so if your taking them PLEASE PLEASE be smart about it I was under doctor supervision and still got hooked to them. Good luck to anyone needing help getting off them. Suboxone is something that really helps if used for a short period of time like a week or so. ## It is very difficult for the majority to become dependent on Percocet after...

I have c 230 yellow pill but for some reason not all of them line up perfectly with the marked c 230 when flipped over , is this normal for this pharmaceutical company to not line up the marks perfectly when flipped over seems like the 230 can be sideways or upside down? ? ## Hi Nycole, Did you get this pill filled at a licensed pharmacy? If not, a lab analysis would probably be the only safe way to tell if it's legitimate. Counterfeiters can easily purchase pill presses off the internet and compose whatever type of tablet they want, making it look virtually identical to the real thing (but often have minor to moderate deformities such as what you described). When I look at a legitimate image of a 10/325 generic Percocet tablet (made by Alvogen Inc.) that's round, yellow and mar...

Thick round, light yellow pill. Only marks are: P73 ## From what I've sen from other replies about this same pill is that this is a low dose (81 mg) aspirin. ## Small white pill with P73 printed on one side. ## I have read that this is a low dose asprin but there is an odor to the bottle I found and it has no label on it. it smells like vinegar. ## CVS Pharmacy does list this tablet as containing 81mgs of Aspirin, which is the dosage many people use for heart health, and blood thinning. NDC code: 50428-2302 The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Curious, many medications can have an odd odor, that is not unusual. Was the bottle marked as containing Aspirin, or something else?

We got a yellow round pill with 230 on it and really can't describe what's on the other side. ## Hello, Jen! How are you? No worries, I know exactly what you're talking about, it's actually an Asian C, which is a logo used by Alvogen on some of their prescription medications. The one with the number 230 on the opposite side is listed by them as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Oxycodone. How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're experiencing. Unfortunately, there is no database that lists which manufacturer's products are carried by which pharmacy, even if someone tried to set one up, the information would be so dynamic that it would be virtually impossible to keep it updated accurately. what's the difference in the different shapes and colors and printed numbers on Percocets? ## Hi Sharon, A round yellow pill marked with "C 230" is reported to be a generic version of Percocet containing 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mgs of Acetaminophen, used for moderate to severe pain. And this particular pill is manufactured by a company called Alvogen. My last 2 months of taking Alvogen 10/325 are turning faint yellow and look like they have been in water as the shape and medicine doesn't seem to be that effective. Can you tell me why the pill is changing its color and not effective as of 3 months ago? I may have been taking the Watson brand or some other brand. ## Hi Judy, Are you meaning to say that the new prescription is yellow when you get them filled or that the pills gradually turn yellow [perhaps through oxidation or other unknown causes] while you have them in your possession? If the latter, I think that is really strange and this is probably the first time I've heard of something like that happening to any pharmaceutical. If I were you I'd consider contacting the pharmacy who filled your prescription and ask them...

Hello. For some reason when I take the yellow 230 oxycodone it always gives me a headache or severe back pain, but when I take the white RP 10 oxycodone they work just fine. Why is that? Is there an ingredient in it that I may be allergic to or something? ## I take the pink 10 mg and the last prescription I felt was that at Walgreens and it was this weird fat tablet that I’ve never seen before. It has an M on it but the manufacturer begin with an S, something is definitely wrong with it it gave me terrible stomach pain. I have stomach problems anyway but it gave me the worst stomach pain ever. I’m actually going to report it to the FDA medwatch but I think the pharmacist did. If not I’m going to. Somethings wrong with them.

I have two different yellow c 230s side by side and with the 230 straight across lined up side to side and flip perfectly around and the c's don't line up and one has specs of something and looks old and the are not hard hard nor do they snap when broken. ...? ??? ## The pill description you provided is indicative of generic 10/325 Oxycodone HCL + Acetaminophen; made by Alvogen. For verification, the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 47781-230. I don't know how they feel or what they look like when they're broken, but if you received these from a licensed pharmacy, you can be sure they are real. The NDC link also contains a list of inactive ingredients. I hope this helps!

Is yellow round pill 230 c the same as Norco ## Hi Amy, The round yellow pill you're describing marked with a C on one side and 230 on the other, contains 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mg of Acetaminophen. This is NOT the same as Norco. Norco contains Hydrocodone instead of Oxycodone. For added verification on the pill's ID, it's reportedly manufactured by a company called Alvogen; and carries a National Drug Code of 47781-0230. I hope this helps answer your question!
