Could this be generic Xanax? ## round yellow may say MAY... ## Pfizer lists the tablet with the X 2 marking as being a light blue and containing 2mgs of Alprazolam, which is a generic for Xanax, it is a time released formulation. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, irritability, and headache. Ynn, can you double check that imprint and post back? A friend of mine took an off white-ish (greenish) pill, possibly faded. It has a breast cancer looking ribbon (R) on one side and on the other there's an 86. The pill is round. ## The tablet with the R logo and 86 on it contains 3mgs of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax XR, it is a time released benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders.
