my sister in law aged 47 years female been suffering from thyroid high bp recently she is suffereing from pain in whole body. doctors treater her for arthrytis and neuro problem but of no result. can you help her to get relieved from such pain ?

I read that not many people use doxepin...I have roaming body pain after a few hours of sleep...Because of an ele., burn of 13,800 volts back in 1991...I have tried to slowly get off the pill...but with in 2 or 3 weeks my night time pain is with me all night...Dose any of you use this pill for the same reason...pain...I have used as high as 150 mg ... but have been on 75mg for 10 years now... ## Doxepin is typically a sleep aid, I have been on as high a dose as 300 mg a day. Pain is better controlled by gabapentin or some of the newer drugs like lyrica or cymbalta. I know about pain as I have fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, a screwed up knee and nueroma in my feet. You seriously need to speak with your doctor or a pharmacist. Pain can be overcome with the right meds.

I visited a doctor about my knee pain and he told me that i am suffering from arthritis. He advised me to take these tablets: glucosamine, mathylsulfonylmethane & diacerein and calcize. I took at least a month worth and it seems i got red spots all over my back. So please advise whether I can continue to take these tablets? I have been taking 120mgs. of cymbalta for yrs. for depression, I also have chronic pain, it does Nothing for my pain whatsoever. ## Cymbalta contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, it is an SNRI antidepressant. It has been shown to help some people with pain, however, there is no medication that works for everyone person that takes it. It also may not help your pain if you have been on the same dosage for a long period of time, because your body is used to this dosage. I have been diagnosed with stenosis. Walking becomes painful but is recommended for exercise. How can I exercise pain free? ## Have you discussed it with your doctor? I am using eptoin 300mg for past 9 months and some times in between i skip taking the medicine. Earlier for few months, every thing was fine, but now a days i am feeling the dizziness full day and some body pains. Because of this, my eyes remain swelled for the full day. My friend has been clean for like 9 days now and her doctor prescribed her suboxone after she said her body hurt? Is that the reason? Cause I would love to know... ## Suboxone is prescribed for pain in other countries but here in the states as far as I know it,s only prescribed to treat opiate addiction. The pain your friend is feeling could be from withdrawal. Maybe your friend has other pain issues and also has a pain pill problem and the patient and doctor decided to start suboxone treatment.
