Hi I take fluoxetine and the capsule has always been green and yellow today I picked up my new scrips and there plain green ive googled this and every website says yellow and green even the manufacturers teva uk ltd are these the same ## Are there any markings on it? That is what would enable use to check. However, I'd recommend double checking the dosage to make sure you received the correct dose. Here, in the U.S., the 20mg capsules are green and yellow and the 10mg ones are just green. I have a bottle of each here, because I take 20mgs in the morning and 10mgs at night for perimenopause symptoms. The FDA classifies this medication as an SSRI antidepressant and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight loss.

I have been on Fluoxetine for 9 years and took 20mg but then I started taking every other day thinking I was gonna come off it, but started feeling bad again so I’m on my 4th week of taking it every day again. The side effects are really bad again, thought my body will be used to it. Can anyone help ## What side effects are you experiencing? Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! The NIH lists the typical ones as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, and weight loss, along with others. If you were taking it every other day, then started taking it every day, again, that is essentially a dosage change, so it is normal for you to experience side effects, again, for about 4 to 6 weeks.

As my title says I've switched from celexa to fluoxetine 60 mg. I know the 60 mg is too high. Was just trying to get leveled out and then was coming down. My question is I've been taking the dose of 60mg fluoxetine for 11 days now per my cross taper schedule. Can I lower to 40 mg. now during the transferring phase and if so how do I go about it? Just stop taking one of the 20 mg tablets? I was always on 40 mg or lower (20mg) of the celexa but after a life threatening traumatic accident never got back down after 5 surgerys. I took Fluoxetine for 3 weeks last month. The side effects were too unbearable to manage. Every single day I felt nausea, dizzy, foggy headed, blurred vision, more anxious and panicky as ever, constantly tired all the time, bad insomnia, and rapid heart rate. I decided at week 4 to quit cold turkey. I noticed after a few days of not taking the med, I surprisingly felt better. I haven't so far experienced any withdrawal symptoms. My energy has returned, most of my side effects has gone away, and for some reason I'm functioning well without it. It's weird, but I think it's a blessing. Hi there, i started fluoxetine 3days ago but am already feeling side effects and want to stop. Will the withdrawals still occur even after only taking them for 3days? I was prescribed 20mg for post natal depression and anxiety. I dont think i want to be on then as want to try and perservere with brwast feeding which ive been told i have to stop as soon as im on them. I also take Fluoxetine 20mg.and Lyrica 25mg. three times a day. When I first started the Lyrica I was very disoriented, so much so I was afraid to drive. However as time has gone on that has disappeared. I have gained weight and have pretty bad dry mouth but the pain has decreased unbelievably. I have been given Fluoxetine capsules and I'm wondering if they are placebos? I opened one up and to me looks white powdery and kinda fluffy is this Fluoxetine? ## Do you have a picture? Or can you describe the capsule? I have Fluoxetine capsules in 20mg and 40mg. I do not take them as they did not work for my body but I can tell you if you have legitimate capsules.

I've been on fluoxetine for 6 months, starting off on 20mg and now on 60mg for my ocd. I also take seroquel 75mg daily spread out. Recently i have started to feel really high, like coming up on "xtc". I went to the doctors and they referred it to be SAD seasonal affective disorder, but i feel like its to do with the medication. So my wife recently switched to Walmart to get her Fluoxetine 20MG tabs to save money. She ended up with Northstar Rx LLC brand pills. These are blue dark/light with A106 on them. It's been 3 days now of anxiety, diarrhea, and just all out feeling bad. When we were looking up the manufacturing info I was shocked to see that Northstar is actually shipping these to be produced for them by: Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited in India.... What the hell?
