Can 370 mg of this medication kill someone? ## From what I've read, the recommended dose of Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) is 5 to 10mgs three times daily; which would amount to 15 or 30 mgs total. I'm not sure why anyone in their right frame of mind would consider taking anything more than that, but 370mg is just ridiculous and careless in my opinion. Do you know if this person is even still alive right now or are you simply speaking hypothetically? In case of any overdose, you should probably be prepared to call your local poison control center or emergency hotline first and foremost. Waiting for a possible response on a forum may not be the best idea if the person you know really is dying from this overdose. I hope this helps!

Robaxin 500mg compaired to Flexeril 10mg, are they considered the same strength or which one is stronger? ## Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol and Flexeril contains Cyclobenzaprine. The Flexeril is generally much more mild, so 10mgs of it would not be equal to the 800mg dosage of Robaxin. Have you been switched from one to the other? ## soma vs. flexeril, WITCH IS STRONGER ## got it and thanks ## I was given Robaxin for my rotar cuff shoulder. I had problems with Robaxin. I was dizzness, my blood pressure was unbalance. ## Yes, I have been on flexeril 10 mg for 12 years not working so doctor put me on robaxin 750 mg. Seems to be working for me for now I can take 2 at a time but I feel 1 is working. ## I'm on 500MG methocarbamol and its useless, like basic vitamins...

I take 10 mgs of lexapro and was wondering if 5mgs of flexeril would interact? I weigh about 140 lbs and am 5'8. I do not take anything else. My mom gave me a flexeril to help with some muscle spasms in my back but I don't want to take it if it interacts. ## No, these medications should not be taken together, as it increases the risk of your developing Serotonin Syndrome, which has the potential to be fatal. Thus, if your doctor hasn't prescribed them both for you, it could be very dangerous for you to take them, according to FDA reports. It would be best to consult your physician to see what you can safely take. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have 3.75 mg of clorazapate and it doesnt seem to be working as well any more. I now have 10mg of Flexerill. I know i should not take together but which is stronger? or are they equal? Ive been onthe clorazapate for a while now. Thats probable why I got this. ## There is really no way to compare to the two, since they are different medications. Clorazepate is a benzodiazepine, while Flexeril is a muscle relaxant, so they work differently. It is really a matter of which works best for you. Have you tried the Flexeril, yet? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. ## what are the side effects of stopping 3.75 mg cloraz sepot

Is it safe to take a flexeril 10 mg 10 hours after taking didrex 50 I took a didrex 50 mg st 9 am is it safe to take a flexeril 10 at 7 pm for back spasms ## The main issue is that one is a stimulant and the other causes sedation, since it's a muscle relaxant. They can be taken together, but you do need to be cautious and should only do so, if your doctor has prescribed them both for you. The FDA lists the side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been on Flexeril 10 mg, 3x a day. Even taking all 3 at once does not help at all. Dr switched me to methocarbamol 750 mg. Is this going to work better than the Flexeril? Any help is much appreciated. ## It is stronger, so it may work better for you, but the only way to find out is by trying it to see. round yellow tablet with TL 177 ## I was given Topamax 100 m.g. to add to my PTSD cocktail of meds--I was still having terror nightmares and anxiety. It seemed to help as I recall 8 yrs later. After about 2-3 weeks, one day I started seeing silvery flashes at my eye perimeters when I blinked. The next day, every time I blinked, and sometimes when I didn't, I saw huge silvery flashes and was really worried..brain tumor??? Anyway, because the symptom was in the eyes, I got an emergency appointment with an opthalmologist (MD). He said my eyes were fine and asked about what medications I had recently added to the ones I used for depression and anxiety. Bingo! When I said Topamax, he jumped immediately and said, Oh, that's it! I've found about 20% using Topamax have acute symptom...

I have been taking Flexeril, 10 mg for 3 years and decided to get off completely, cold turkey. Which was probably a mistake. After 2 days every muscle in my body is sore and aches. It feels like I have done an intense workout. My question is, will the pain eventually go away. If so, how long will it take? ## Anytime you have taken a medication for a long period of time, your body does get used to it and a sudden cessation can result in withdrawal and rebound effects, which can be even worse than what you started taking it for to begin with. Have you consulted your doctor? The rebound pain should eventually go away, but it may take a month or more, before it starts to taper off, since you were taking the medication for several years.

I am a 48 year old woman with fibromyalgia and psoriatic arthritis. At bedtime I take Zanaflex 4 MG, Tramadol 50 MG and several other meds that don’t concern me as they’re not things that would affect my heart or breathing. When I took my meds tonight I noticed that I forgot to take my noon meds so I took those as well, forgetting that I had put a 10 MG Flexeril in with them because I was having bad muscle spasms this morning. I know I shouldn’t have taken all of this together. I called poison control and he didn’t seem concerned. I have a high tolerance for pain meds and muscle relaxers anyway so I think I’m fine too, it just never hurts to ask. ## How are you doing? Did you experience any adverse effects? The FDA warns that combining these medications cou...

My Dr put me on baclofen for rls and I was also prescribed 600 mg ibuprofen for pain in the hospital. I had fluid around my heart. I also have epilepsy and take lamictal 100 mg twice daily and onfi 60 mg day. Also keppra 500 mg twice daily. Can I get addicted to taking baclofen and ibuprofen with my other medication? Can you take ibuprofen with flexeril? I am so exhausted all the time and cannot sleep at night. ## What was the condition that caused fluid around your heart? Most nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, such as Ibuprofen, are contraindicated in such cases, because they may cause fluid retention as a side effect, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding.

WHAT IS THE REAL NAME OF THESE TWO MEDS...I AM ON BOTH.ONE IS FLEXIRIL(CYCLOBENZAPR), WAHT IS OTHER ONE? ## Hi Figgy, They are the same! Just different manufacturers. ## Hi Figgy, Just wanted to provide you with a second opinion and some additional information on comparing the two tablets... Karen is correct. Flexeril is quite simply another brand name for Cyclobenzaprine. Much in the same way an orange is also referred to as a citrus fruit, generic medications such as Cyclobenzaprine also have other names they go by when the same drug is being manufactured by one or more companies who can't copy the same name for legal reasons and therefore have to come up with new names for marketing purposes. However, it should be noted that some manufacturers produce a generic drug as well as a ...

10 mg. clonazepam? How about yellow, scored tabs with "M" inscription? ## Clonazepam is not available in a 10mg dosage, the maximum dosage available on the U.S. market is 2mgs. As to yellow tablets, with an M imprint, there is one that has an M on one side, with a C over 13 on the opposite, which contains 0.5mgs of Clonazepam. Is this the tablet you are referring to? It is a Benzodiazepine, which is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It can be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Learn more: ## That pill you describe is most assuredly a cyclobenzaprine. Also known as flexeril. It is a muscle relaxer and is most common at 10mg. And true, klonopin would be a horrible experience at 10mg. ## I have ...

I have been taking Baclofen for spasms since spinal cord injury 14 months ago. I'm currently taking 110 mg of bacolfin and 2-4 10 mg of flexeril a day to try to control spasms so I can leave my house. What would you recommend taking to get relief from the spasms. Also taking 30 mg bid of lyrica, 15 mg bid morphine sulfate, and 4 aleve to try helping with the pain. ## Hello, Alicia! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. You may want to ask your doctor about trying Soma, though they may be reluctant to do so, since it's commonly abused. It's a muscle relaxant that is much more potent than the others. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Does anyone else have any suggestions? ## I was sent to ...

I have been on Cymgen for 3 months now. First on 60mg in morning and now reduced to 30mg at night. I have started weeing 3-4 times per night although I haven't had anything to drink for hours. I also have a lot of acid. AND Insomnia !! Will it help if I take it in the mornings maybe ? ## Then you will have daytime sleepiness. Get off this drug if you can. It is not the right one for you and the side effects are not good for you. If you are female, no one will have sympathy with you for not sleeping because it will be assumed to be due to menopause. They will blame you if you are fat or if you had bad "bedtime Hygeine".Not one thing I tried worked except cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) 10MG or 1 MG klonopin to sleep. Finally I could fall asleep but wake up four hours later. It too...
