2nd month diarrhea/bloating 24/7, up night, dizzy, it has been 5 days since I stopped taking daily 145 dose, still have diarrhea/bloating 24/7, ## Those can be side effects of this medication, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness and stomach cramping. Has anything changed, or do you still have diarrhea and bloating? Are you on any other medications?

Hi, I had my third c section on October 16th, bled heavily, as I had after my other two births, then it stopped. My period started on xmas eve and has continued ever since, and I'm still bleeding, all different days, heavy, then it almost stopped, then clots, different colours, I had a scan done before Xmas due to my uterus being very high at my six week check, this scan was clear, They had suspected retained products but this was since ruled out. My doctor put me on primolut and two antibiotics for two weeks, but the bleeding continues, They have now decided it's 'hormonal' and put me back on primolut for the next 3 months, on a one a day dosage. Even though I asked why I'm none the wiser what is happening to me or why, I've never heard of someone bleeding this ...

I am at the end of my first pack, the first weeks were fine and I didn't have spotting until a few days ago. I didn't wait for my period to start the pill, but I have been taking it everyday only off by at most 2 hours (once in a while). Yesterday I started bleeding heavier and now I'm bleeding pretty heavily and I just passed a huge clot. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this just my period? I took a white pill yesterday... ## Hello, Ren! How are you? Irregular bleeding can occur for the first 3 months or so of taking this, while your body is adjusting to the hormones in it. However, if it gets severely heavy or continues past a week, you should consult your doctor. Are there any other questions or concerns?

This is my first month being on sprintec, or any other birth control and i started my fourth white pill this morning and I still haven't had my period. I was prescribed the Sunday start plan but I was confused on how it worked so I ended up not starting the pills until a week and a day after my period. I started having cramps and normal period symptoms about a week and a half ago ( around my normal period arrive date) but no bleeding or spotting or anything. Is it normal to not have a period your first month of sprintec if you start it a week after you're suppose to??? ## Hello, Jenny! How are you? I am sorry about the confusion. Did you engage in intercourse during the first week of taking it, without using additional protection? If so, there may be a chance that you're pre...

I have been taking Linzess for over a month now, highest dose. Have had IBS my whole life. I drink water all day long. I am peeing about every hour! I still have 4-5 days without a bowel movement then constipation followed by diarrhea. When I am able to have a bowel movement for a few days in a row, I feel so much pressure in my abdomen, like I have gas or have to go to the bathroom but can not go. I am so much more uncomfortable than before I started taking linzess. Has anyone else experienced this. ## Hello, Cindy! How are you doing? I am sorry about what you've been going through, but no you are not the first person to experience these issues. The gas, and abdominal pressure, can be normal side effects of this medication, according to FDA reports. You may also continue to experie...

After the first 3 months it seemed to be starting to help clear the nail at the base. I was happy because this treatment was not causing me painful ingrown toenails like the Keridyn did. Unfortunately, 6 months into this treatment, the skin around my nails are now having massive irritation, redness, drying, cracking, peeling and bleeding. This happened to me when I used Keridyn after 8 months and I had to stop using it. I am so dissappointed, I'll probably have to stop this too, it's getting too painful. Some other site I just read said a girl used neem oil and it worked for her. Guess I'll have to try that next. I've tried everything over the counter with no luck. Others have said that the laser treatment only works temporarily and I'm not taking that pill that kill...

I'm on Junel 21 and i've been using it for a month and a half now. Last month i had a regular period but this month i had it twice. I don't understand. Is it because of the pill? Is this normal? ## Yes, this is considered break-through bleeding and it can occur off and on for the first several months that you are taking birth control pills. It is due to the hormones in them and the way they effect your body. It should stop after your body adjusts to the pills. However, if it does not or you start bleeding heavily, then you should consult your doctor immediately. ## Ohhh ok so its all because my body try to adjust it, and i call my doctor and she tells me same thing you said... thanks for your reply.... ## I got my period twice in a month (on May 6th was my 1st period and on ...

I took 80mg a day. for the first two months i was taking the wrong dosage and then the last month i took 160mg and had surgery on the 16th of march 2016 and that was a breeze. I was only out for 46 minutes. That's the first thing i said when i woke up, 46 minutes. just like my doc told me i was asleep for and he didnt lie. Thank you jesus im now cancer free and im grateful for that medication. I was taking it for hyperplasia and cancer cells and they're all gone. best medication ever and very mild side effects and it took me two weeks to get used to them. God is good. so i have a mild form of crohns started with just diarrhea and abdominal discomfort on right side. i started taking pentasa 2 pills 4 times a day for the first few months in january and it was working great bowel movements were normal and pain went away. since may i started having the abdominal discomfort on and off. don't know if i should change my medicine or what ## Have you consulted your doctor? They are really the one person qualified to help you discover if a medication adjustment, or different medication would be necessary. In addition, are you also watching your diet? It is a necessity for someone with Crohn's, because they medications can't possibly keep everything under control if you just eat whatever you like.

I have been taking Lomedia 24fe for 6 months, have never missed a pill and take at same time every day. I always had a light period before taking the pill and had spotting when taking the brown pills for the first 4 months but have not had a period the past two months. Is it normal to stop having a period while taking Lomedia 24fe? Pregancy tests are negative. ## I've also been exactly on lomedia for 6 months. This month I didn't get a period, haven't missed a pill at all. I'll be taking a pregnancy test, though I have no signs of pregnancy. It's kind of freaking me out too! ## Hello, Annabelle and Suzanne! How are both of you ladies? Yes, some women don't have periods, when taking oral contraceptives. If you're worried, please consult your respective doctors...

We do have a very active discussion thread about this medication, here's a link to it: The most commonly reported side effects of Viibryd, when it was in testing include: nausea, diarrhea and somnolence. Hey all. 31 male here. Prescribed Lexapro about four months ago for depression and PTSD. 5mg for a week, then 10mg for three weeks, now 20mg and sitting pretty. Here's the run down on what I've experienced: At first the obvious side effects included immediate 'fogginess' of vision and a strong sedative effect. If anyone's ever taken Molly it sort of feels like the come-on of that (with no peak obviously). That was the first few days. I also noticed an almost immediate drop in libido that has progressively gotten worse. Normally I'm a 'once a day' guy at least. Now I'm more like once a fortnight, and when I do get friendly with the girls, it can take up to an hour to climax (if I don't give up). The foggy vision and drowsiness has since cleared, bu...

Alright, I have been on this birth control for 3 months now (currently on Wednesday in the last week of my 3rd pack). For the first pack my period came on the last week, as it should according to the pill's instructions. But for my second pack, I got my period the second week of the pack for that whole week! What's even more mind-boggling is that on the last week of that second pack, I got my period again, which is how it should be. Now, this is my third month, thus I am on my third pack. Just like how my second month had been, I got my period for a whole week in the second week of the pack! It is now the last week of my third pack, day Wednesday, but now I haven't even gotten my period! Something is not right, and I'm starting to get aggravated with this birth control. ...

Hi everyone. I have GAD...car rides are a nightmare for me. We are traveling to NY and my husband is driving and I am really nervous. I have some Xanax .25 mg the doctor prescribed me last month. I took half the pill today to see how I feel before I take one for the ride and it was alright. I plan on taking .25 tomorrow night for the ride and then another one in a week for the ride home. This won't form a physical dependence will it? Like I won't have to worry about seizures or withdrawals will I? ## Physical dependence no with that amount, a psychological dependence would be possible over time. To put things in perspective, I started with 10 .25 pills prescribed to me in 1988. I take considerably more now although after a near death experience I am acutely aware of the danger t...

I took it last night and feel like I did the 1st few months I took Avonex - a little nauseous, achy, cold, etc. Hopefully, these side effects will decrease after a few months like they did with the Avonex, as I like the SQ and every 2 week administration. ## Most side effects do improve with time, as your body gets used to a medication. Have you experience any new ones? The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including redness and irritation at the administration site, flu-like symptoms and tiredness. Is anyone else on this that can chime in? ## I tried Avonex and it made me feal so bad I couldn't get out of bed then I was put on Copaxon it was so much better then they made the dose stonger and I only have to take them 3 times a week I am so grateful I really don't li...
