recently when I take my Fioricet w/ Cod I get REALLY drowsy. I never had this problem in the past. Could it be the fact that I am now Taking the generic version? ## I have same problem Take a nap in morning and need another in afternoon ## Yes, there can be difference in the amount of the active ingredients in the generics, as compared to the name brands. The fluctuations are slight and many people have no problems with them, but some people are sensitive to medications and experience new side effects. i started using fioricet pills about 2 years ago when i fell down @ work and woke up in the ER with a councusion eversence than i get this headaches that drive me up the walls ## Are they still working for you, or are you having some problem with them? Since one of the active ingredients in them is Acetaminophen, there can be risks associated with long term use, which you should discuss with your doctor.

Some of them have been discontinued and are no longer available. Otherwise, if it's one that can still be found, did you try asking your pharmacy to order it in for you? ## I have the same experience with generic Fioricet - it does NOT work! We can't be the ONLY ones to notice that the Emperor is wearing no clothes. I wish this issue could be properly addressed. But it appears that few are affected? and sales flourish, so there's not much hope. My pharmacy refuses to carry brand name Fioricet so I must purchase it out of town. Wishing you good luck!

Have I got a generic Fioricet? They are blue, round, tablets with CL 041 on it. I have never seen this before, is this Fioricet? I am afraid it's the wrong med. Can you take adipex and fioricet together? what side effects would i have taking them at the same time? is it safe? ## Adipex contains Phentermine and the Fioricet contains Acetaminophen, Butalbital and Caffeine. There are no interactions listed, but you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. The main concern that I would have would be stomach irritation, so you may want to try taking them an hour or two apart, rather than at the exact same time. Another issue that you may run into is the fact that the Phentermine works like a stimulant, so that with the Caffeine in the Fioricet could cause some insomnia, jitteriness and irritability. IS ANYONE OUT THERE??? ## It's actually not advisable, because they some of the ingredients can basically counteract each other. For instance, the Butalbital in the Fioricet increase sedation, while the Phentermine is a stimulant, plus you'd also be adding in the Caffeine that's in the Fioricet and this type of combination just isn't good for your body and should only be used if your doctor has specifically told you that it's safe for you to take them together. i just went to the er for the worst headache i've ever had. I normally only get headaches when i'm sick and have a fever. all of a sudden, 2 days ago, i started getting such a bad headache that everybody seemed to yelling instead of talking, the lights in the office were so bright that tears started running down my face and my vision was a little off. they gave me fioricet at the er. is this suppose to prevent a headache? do u take it when u feel a headache might be coming on?
