i am suffering with fibromyagia and now with renal failure my doctor is refusing ro prescribe fentanyl some doctors will perscribe it but i can not keep going to a new doctor evry week to find out. my needs are urgent and i should be on dialasis. does the doctor need to be on some special program ? ## Hello, Bob! Father n Law is on fentanyl for neck pain. Moved him from Beaumont to Fort Worth, TX to live with us. Need a doctor to fill patch until his heart surgery heals to proceed with pain management. ## Withdrawing from taking twenty 10/325 a day for an injured lower back. I have 8 compression fractures in my back stating at the thoracic area to my lumber region. Ihave also fractured my neck region. I live in excruciating pain on a daily basis. It effects my saily function. I xant even vacuum and i when i do i pay for it for several days. What am i to do? I have gone thru every narcotic known to man except for fentanul. I am recovering from necrotizing pancreatitis with a large pseudo-cyst. The cyst is rather large and is putting considerable pressure on internal organs, but the doctor wants to take a slow approach at draining. As part of pain management upon leaving the hospital, I was prescribed 50 mcg/hr pain patch. Unfortunately he will not refill the prescription. I have been on Fentanyl patches 100mcg for several years now. Unfortunately it wouldn't always cover my pain and I would have to get another prescription from another doctor as a bridge to the original prescription. Due to the regulations in New York I was found out and now both doctors are threatening to cut me off. My Pain Specialist who prescribed fentanyl actin lollipops 800 mcg has retired and I can not find any doctor anywhere who will. I live in Johnstown, PA I will run out in a few weeks and then I guess have to go to a Detox center. I did this once before. I had no problem after being detoxed. Hello. I've recently had my doctor retire due to health reasons. And I can't seem to find a doctor that will write me a script for fentanyl. I go to Hill Country pain in Fredericksburg Texas with dr. v hill I've been going there for 5 years I was taking 75mm fentanyl every 48 hours and it was working perfect I wasn't having as much pain it wasn't even asking for a change and the PA is changing my medicine without me wanting him to anyone know of another doctor . I have been in soma for a long time on and off. I have tried every muscle relaxer/spasmodic out there. All of a sudden my dr won't prescribe soma anymore?? I have a disease that has no cure and I know what works for me. I have given an honest try with all the other muscle meds, but I am at my wit end. It is ok to give me oxycodone and fentanyl patches but the soma is a no? I don't understand. I would need less break through pain meds if I still was in the soma. I was doing so much better. My doctor told me last Thursday a UA came back with low values of meds in my system. I only ever used the meds as prescribed. He said he will no longer fill my 75 mcg/h patch and hydrocodone after 8 years. 2 car accidents 3 weeks apart in 2003. I have 2 inoperable thoratic disc, spinal stenosis and a pinched nerve in my lower back. Also had 2 cervical fusion surgeries.
