Hey :) I'm moving to MI I'm a couple months & need yo find a new dr. I've been seeing mine in Nj for close to 20 years. He gives me my meds (opana & percs) with no problems. Can you let me know what dr you see in MI? Much appreciated. BTW, you can't get out of state prescriptions filled :/ sorry

If the prescriptions have been written by a doctor in Florida and you live there, then it is highly doubtful that a pharmacy in another state will fill them, because that means they are difficult for them to verify and it makes it much easier for someone to doctor and pharmacy hop. Have you tried checking with other pharmacies in your area to see if they have them? ## If the pharmacy is out, simply ask them to order it. I live in PA, and i just happened to find a clinic in the michigan area with a good doctor. so my question is if i go to michigan and get a script for pain meds, how would i go about filling the script. being from PA, do i even have a chance of any pharamacys in the area filling it. Hey guys, My pain doc in W.Va., who I've been seeing for years was shut down, so my family doc sent me to a pain clinic in Va (there are no pain clinics left in wva). CVS and another pharmacy close to the pain clinic will not fill my prescription because my address is W.Va.. I asked them to call the doc to verify it and I offered my MRI report proving that I am in bad shape (2 major back surgeries, 3 herniated discs, spondy, stenosis, scar tissue, arthritis, etc., etc) but they refused to fill it, treating me like a criminal. I've been prescribed oxycodone 30mg for almost a year now due to back and knee injuries and it has become impossible to fill my prescriptions here in the state of Florida its been impossible to fill any pain meds for that matter. From what others have stated, I get the sense that the DEA is the one controlling how much they hand out and how often they are even able to hand it out. There's really no other logical explanation for pharmacists to freak out about filling patients prescriptions other than the notion that their inventory is probably being strictly monitored by the DEA. I have a question I missed my Dr's appointment and made another one unfortunently I am going to be out of my med (oxycodone) So she wrote out a script for 5 days.
