I am in Houston & have terminal disease and been on hydrocodone 10-325 & fentanyl patch for years. Picked up prescriptions today and Walgreens filled fentanyl patch but says No one has hydrocodone? Said it was manufacture? They gave me no options, tried a private pharmacy and got no where. Is there anything anybody knows ## @Dsh, Sorry to hear about your situation. It seems as though many chronic pain patients are facing a similar dilemma at this point in time (given the recent state of opioid madness going on throughout the country). I do find it extremely unusual however that pharmacies don't have something as "light" as hydrocodone in stock at any given time. Shortage problems like this appear to be out of the doctor's control who wrote the prescription for yo...

I recently went to CVS and forgot that they use some sort of generic for lortab called, well, I call it "Mallencrock (crock-o-crap). I have a refill. Can I go in and ask that they not make me pay for something I can't stand and doesn't work for me, and that I would like to have Lortab/Watson brand? ## There have been many complaints about the products manufactured by Mallinckrodt. Yes, you can ask them ahead of time if they have a different one in stock to fill your prescription, though it may be more expensive. If they don't, or won't order it in for you, you could always see about transferring your prescription elsewhere. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I actully did what you said and had it transferred to Walgreens and they happily gave me what I wanted...

I usually get the yellow V 36 01 when I fill my 10mg Norco. This time they gave me white V 36 09. ## Hi debra, The V 36 09 white pill is a new version made by Qualitest that only recently came out on the market; which is why information seems scarce at the moment. However other patients here have also confirmed this in the following discussion thread: Discuss/hydrocodone-yellowwith-v-on-one-and-3609-on-the-other-what-dose-208024.htm It reportedly contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone + 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Though I'm not sure if it's brand name Norco or generic. You could try contacting the manufacturer for more specific details if need be. I hope this helps! ## it is generic norco . made my hand swell, and I was very irritable . Horrible feeling

Hi, my name is Rebecca & I currently take hydrocodone 5/325mg tablets q6hrs for pain. I get 60 & I have refills so I can refill them as needed every 15 days. I was released from the hospital on Sunday w/pleurisy of the lungs due to my lupus. On Friday August 8th, my doctor gave me a prescription for Lortab liquid to ease my cough since I cannot take codeine. I filled the script for the Lortab liquid yesterday Friday. It is 10/300 taking 5ml every 4 hrs & there's 120mls which comes to 24 doses or 4 days supply. I am scheduled to have my hydrocodone tablets refilled on Tuesday & I'm wondering if b/c I just had the liquid filled will it cause me a problem. Tuesday will be the day the liquid is scheduled to run out also & since they're different scripts, diff...

I am on pain pills to manage the chronic pain I experience from Fibromyalgia, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Neuropathy, and back/disc problems. We moved, so I just changed pharmacies. I get a Rx every month for hydrocodone-apap 7.5-650 (used to get 10-650's but couldn't stand the nausea, so I asked them to bump it down a bit). I used to get the pink pills that had WATSON 502 (I think it was) on them, generic for Lorcet Plus. Now I filled the same Rx at the new pharmacy and they gave me some white scored oblong tablet that says M359. It also says generic for Lorcet Plus tablet. Can anyone please tell me if there is a difference other than the manufacturer of the pills? (like, if one is better than the other). The old ones (WATSON) seemed like they took forever to kick in and at t...

I have a Kentucky Licenses and went to a pain clinic in GA, they prescribed me Oxycodone 15mg and Hydrocodone 10mg. I have been to several pharmacies in Kentucky and cannot get them filled. Does anyone know where I can get my prescriptions filled rather here in Kentucky or out of state in GA or TN?? Please Help at all if possible, thanks! ## I understand your dilemma, but unfortunately don't know what to do about it. You are kind of running into similar problems in whatever state you try to get them filled, there is always a piece of information that the pharmacy has to be suspicious of, because they can't easily verify it. Why didn't you go to a local pain clinic? ## Is a pharmacy by law allowed to keep or tear up your script ## If you people would go to a Legit Dr, you wou...

I personally haven't used this method for getting a prescription, but I know there are a handful of sites out there that are safe and legal to order from amongst the swarm of bad ones: Legitimate online pharmacies that carry the VIPPS seal are listed at: nabp.net/programs/accreditation/vipps/find-a-vipp...

got rx filled oxycodone 10-325 made by alvogen but pill is yellow oval and has 3610 on one side and v on the other they don't work HELP ## These tablets are manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are they not helping your pain, at all? ## I am having the same problem. I had the 7.5/325 and they seemed stronger than the 10/325. ## Tjust yellow oval pill that says V 3610 is not Oxy, it's hydrocodone

Can I get a prescription for norco 7.5 for a surgery I just had a day before I get my usual prescription of hydrocodone 10mg from my pm dr., and not get in trouble? ## Hello frank. I am in GA and I go to pain management for a severe back problem. I signed a narcotic agreement that states I cannot get a pain med prescription from another dr and fill out, without getting permission from the pain dr first. Hope this helps. ## Momof3 is correct, it depends on your doctor's policies and what you agreed to, when you started seeing them. Additionally, since this is a lower dosage than the one you usually take, it isn't likely to help much. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mout...

I have a prescription for 100 percocet 10mg. I am in st Petersburg fl. I have been driving around for 2 days trying to get it filled. Does anybody know of a pharmacy that actually regularly stocks this? Thanks! ## I think that many people forget that Sam's Clubs have a pharmacy and if you pay for a membership $35 I think each year then they run your card to get a nice discount. Since these Clubs are membership only they tend to not have as many hangups or crazy rules on prescribing Narcotics of any kind. I paid only $67 for 120 Hydrocodone 10mg which is a cheap cash price, my Sams club card gave me a 70% discount on them. I was getting a 55% discount on generic Soma's. Many people overlook the Sams Club pharmacy. I'm not sure if Costco has a pharmacy but that may also be ano...

My doctor told me last Thursday a UA came back with low values of meds in my system. I only ever used the meds as prescribed. He said he will no longer fill my 75 mcg/h patch and hydrocodone after 8 years. 2 car accidents 3 weeks apart in 2003. I have 2 inoperable thoratic disc, spinal stenosis and a pinched nerve in my lower back. Also had 2 cervical fusion surgeries. I honestly feel like my withdrawals are going to kill me and pain is starting to really flair? What can I do? He gave me a 20 day supply of Clonidine and sent me on my way. No advice, no referral. I actually had to chase him down to ask questions. Warning on the Clonidine says not for patients with heart attacks and I've had a major blockage and almost died also in 2003 (really bad year) and I as only 43. Is this unet...

I went to a pain management dr. I ve had hystorectomy and have been on 10mg / 325 norco. I moved back to florida from New Mexico. Having severe back problems urinary incontinence and etc I went to a Pcp. He gave me 5/325 120 count hydrocodone. Yesterday I went to pain management . Told him I was already on this and it wasn't working. He wrote me 90 7.5/325 and said that's what I needed to take. Get to pharmacy and pharmacy voids script per the doctors Orders. I told the truth. ? What's happening here ? Help! ## What isn't making sense to me here is that the doctor would write you the new prescription, then immediately tell the pharmacy not to fill it. Have you confirmed this with the doctor? Or are you just taking the word of the pharmacy? Sometimes pharmacies are guilty...

What is the cost for 20 Hydrocodone 5mg tabs (Tussigon)? ## Hi Gayle, I believe the price is going to vary somewhat depending on your location and which pharmacy you get it filled at. However a lot of the information I'm seeing on Tussigon leads me to believe that it will probably cost anywhere from $15 to $35 for a quantity of thirty 5mg/1.5mg tabs; depending on whether or not you utilize a prescription drug discount card like the one MedsChat offers here: Rx Savings Card. I hope this helps! Does anyone else here have feedback on the cost from a recently filled prescription? ## Yes. I just paid $55.75 for 21 tablets of hydrocodone (Tussigon) 5 mg. At the vets office. Can I get cheaper anywhere else? ## If you have a Rite Aide in your area - ask if they'll special order it for y...

I usually get sixty 5mg hydrocodone a month. Well this month when I went in I had a UTI so needed an antibiotic. My Dr messed up and gave me the amount of 30, that she was supposed to give of the antibiotic as my hydrocodone amount and then gave me 60 antibiotics instead of 60 hydrocodone. Well, I got my medications filled and my pharmacist tells me that she gave me 60 Bactrim and thought that was strange and asked me if I knew why and all I knew was I had a bad UTI. It still didn't make sense to her that I was given that many. Well, I got home and realized the mistake. I called my Dr office and they saw the mistake and I have to go back and get the other part of my pain medicine prescription. OK, I always fill ALL my medicine at the SAME pharmacy and do NOT like to go get one med s...

I just filled a script for hydrocodon/acetaminophine 10-500, The pills say 3500 on it instead of 3600, but they still have a V. Did I get the right pills from the pharmacist? ## Your best bet is to just ask the pharmacist. ## What you have might be the 7.5 mg Hydrocodone dose. If you are reluctant to take it then what I would suggest is going back to the pharmacy with it and telling them that the imprint code is different from your previous prescription. That way they can determine if they actually gave you the right medication. Can you please post back and let us know what they determine it to be? This inscription V 3500 is not really coming up. ## Hi Janine - I got an email back from Qualitest support and they stated "All Qualitest tablets bear the V inscription. I don't see a...

Hello all. For the last 6 months, i've been prescribed various meds/treatments/pain meds for severe head pressure and neck pain. I had to stop taking any form of Hydrocodone because it makes my skin breakout in open sores (gross, i know). On May 6th, my PCP prescribed me Oxycodone 10mg 4times daily with great results and it made me very fuctional. He gave me another script for the same medication and when i went to the pharmacy, they filled it and when i got home, i notices the tablets/drug company was different. Well, was i in for a suprise. The new generics my pharmacy had were made by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and are imported from India? Well, to say the least, i've been taking almost twice my dosage to get the same effect. There's no way on earth that my tolerance doubled i...

white oblong pill #653 ## I think the marking your asking about is Watson 853 and it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Lortab, this is a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Read more: Are there any questions or comments? ## my husband has been taking Norco 10/325 for quite sometime. What is the difference between these pills imprinted with 176 and m367? I've taken both pills and m367 doesn't seem to be as strong. ## @Arita, From what I could gather, both pills in question reportedly contain a 10/325 mg dose of Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen. The M367 is made by Mallinckrodt and carries a National Drug Code of 00406-0367. NOTE: You can also view an image of this pill by clicking on the NDC link above The other pill in question (imprinted with 176) is reportedly made by Sun Pharmaceutical and has a National Drug Code of 57664-0176. I wonder if perhaps certain binders/fillers are being implemented that inhibit bioavailability in one way or another. Never the less, you can always ask your doctor to specify a particular manufacturer's brand or generic on your scr...
