I tested positive for methamphetamines and have not had any since 2009. they sent the sample to a lab for testing but came back positive. they wouldn't let me retest and send a new sample, instead wanted to retest what they already had. False Positive Urine Drug Test For Phenobarbital

I have had 2 urine drug screens w a 2 1/2 wk difference between. The first GC/MS + phenobarbital >1000ng & the 2nd + 816ng. I've never taken this drug before. The meds I do take are: gabapentin, tramadol, ibuprofen, sumatriptan, omeprazole. Please help! ## Nothing you've listed is known to cause false positives for any type of Barbiturates, including Phenobarbital. Has your doctor had any ideas as to what may be causing it? I recently took a scheduled urine drug screen for my pain management doctor. The results showed a false positive for both Restorin (unsure of spelling) and heroin. I have never had either of these drugs. I do take morphine daily, but I believe that my migraine medicine (Sumatriptan aka Imitrex) is responsible for the false positives. Provigil/modafinil/imitrex/sumatriptan do any of these show up as thc on ua ## No, those haven't been known to cause false positives for THC. Learn more drug test details here.
