False Positive Drug Test Trazodone

I tested positive for PCP and Pot and have taken neither of them!! I took a test at my PCP the next day and didn't test positive for anything other than what I was prescribed. I don't get it. I don't even know what PCP is! I certainly know what pot is but haven't touched it in at least 13 years!!! I tested negative at my Dr. the next day. I just don't know what to do. I could lose my job over this crap. Any advice?

I just went in for a monthly drug screen for probation and there was a faint line for being positive for methamphetamine. Can primatene tablets cause a false positive for methamphetamine on a hair follicle test? ## How long does it take primatene tablets to leave your system? I'm currently taking Trazodone for sleep. I am also involved in a outpatient drug program that uses Zubsolv rather than Suboxone. My last three drug screens have come back positive for fentanyl which I have never used even during my addiction. I take trazodone every night as well as sparingly Advil pm and sometimes melatonin or benadryl. Can any of these show a false positive for ambien? ## Maybe it was the Tylenol PM that you took that would make it seem like it was an Ambien. So they really have tests that can tell whether you took an Ambien or not? MO ## i attend an out patient program i see the lab form they make you sign. it's a 12 panel urine test. i took a few Ambien will it come up or can it give a false positive for opiates or amphetamines??

I also was told I had a false positive for opiates.. I am on methadone and take depakote, cogentin, trazodone, and birth control.. been clean for opiates for a long time now..they retested me and said I was dirty again.. I know that's not true..of course I'm the liar tho. I also take zantac and prilosec.. could it be my meds showing up dirty for opiates. ## Zantac can cause false positives. Demand a gas chronograph test. This will differentiate what caused the false positive. Do they know you were on zantac or prilosec? If you don't ask, they won't do it, and you may have to pay, but get reimbursed possibly. If you don't, you could even get taken off your methadone, depending on the doctor. Hope this helps- oh and request this before the original sample is destroyed....

I take Methadone, Wal-dram, Trazodone, Celexa, Gabapentin and Nyquil. I showed positive for Benzodiazepine and never took any. I recently took a hair follicle test and it came back positive for meth. I've been clean since April 24, 2013. I was on Trazodone and Prozac until roughly July. My hair said I was positive with only 2100 points on the chart. Could it be from my meds? ## One of the great features of hair drug testing is that it is good at isolating the metabolite that for a particular drug which reduces the incidence of false positives. The number 2100 most likely means 2100 pico grams per milligrams or 2100 pg/mg. That appears to be low or recreational use. As far as the meds causing a false positive I doubt it. I tested positive for tramadol. I don't take tramadol. I take suboxone, trazodone, cymbalta, lyrica, Wellbutrin, prednisone, & singulaire. I was told that I had failed or had a incomplete on a urine test for a job. I'm not sure what COC test is, the only drugs I take are prescribed. I tested positive for this substance (morphocodone) but don't take it. I have 10/325 hydrocodone and 50 mg tramadol prescriptions. I don't take them at the same time. I also have 200 mg of trazodone. I use hemp seed lotions a lot. Which I bought at Walmart. I also tested positive for delta 9 cannabinoids. I haven't used any marijuana to warrant this. The doctor then expelled me from his service and gave me a prescription for addiction! Yes I was on suboxone, for seven months. My doctor drug tested me three times back to back. She kept saying I was positive for benzo's. She had me on Zoloft, I had some trazodones with refills when I started going to her.
