I constantly end up with a tropical viral infection in my one eye only. Please advise what I can use to clear it and how I can prevent getting it again? Also, are there any tests that one can have done to get to the root of the problem? I had a cataract eye op about four months ago and I am 68. I am in pretty good health and not on any drugs or heavy medication. I only take vitamins and health drinks when I feel I need an extra boost. The only thing I suffer from is sinuses and usually try one of the following over the counter meds: Advil cold & sinus tablets, Linctagon-C and Texas allergy 10mg. Regards.

Its funny how those drug companys can take a perfect human and trash them with there precriptions that have more side effects than anything. i noticed nasonex causes eye problems.the first question my eye doctor ask was ? does glucoma run in the family ? No ! after watching TV i know why I am a suspect for glucoma. I hate prescriptions , they are an easy death, the pills people take thinking there getting better when there not is B/S. ## Hi JD F, I can understand how you feel about prescription drugs and certainly agree with a lot of the points you made. According to the link below, changes in vision are a severe side effect of Nasonex: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000204/#a602024-sideEffects Are you experiencing side effects of glaucoma?

My daughter took accutane 6 months ago and is now having problems with her vision, her eyes get really tired easily and burn, also she is feeling depressed all the time, and she is also tired all the time. My boyfriend just started using arv. And he was also taking ilvitrim but now he's got a bad rash and he's eyes are sore please tell me if this is normal and how long will it take for it to go away ## Hello, Zama! Antivirals and antibiotics can both cause non-allergic skin rashes and vision issues as side effects, however, he should have it checked out to be sure it's not an actual allergy that could be dangerous. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include dizziness, nausea and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm in the process of switching from Oxycontin to xtampza er (insurance company forcing me to change) and I have experienced some issues with effectiveness. I've taken Oxycontin for about 15+ years as well as fast acting oxycodone. Now that I am taking xtampza when I need to take the fast acting oxy I'm experiencing itching and stinging sensations as well as a mild cough as if I'm having an allergic reaction; in particular around my eyes and mouth. I take the xtampza with food but I don't know how much food and of what kind will work best. I have been on a roller coaster ride of poor pain control now for 6 weeks and I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar issues? I've gone from having a reduced life to little life at all. ## What dose were you taking of ...

I believe Latisse caused me to lose fat on my upper right eye lid, shriveling it up. I discontinued use and my eye looks back to normal. But it was very scary because it looked awful. Looking up latisse online, this is a side effect: periorbital fat loss. Proceed with caution and do your due dilligence before using. ## Hello, Helene! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you experienced. Was that the only side effect you experienced? The FDA lists others as possibly including hair growth outside the treatment area, eyelid pigmentation, increased ocular pressure and dry eye.

When using Coveram for high blood pressure Hello yes read the side affects from coveram of other people and their problems with it - the urinating is bad as I felt like going to the loo a lot - but one thing I would like to confirm is this does it affect a person's eye. Complaints of floaters have been made whilst on this medicine - Also I am finding although it brings down the lower nbr for HBP the upper nbr is rather high - my HBP is hereditary though - Is it really safe to use plus the potassium thing? It recommends that people on this med should not take too much potassium. Does this include no orange juice or does it mean medicine with potassium? Thanks. ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? Have been taking Ambien and am experiencing vision problems, tired eyes, flashes, and blur. ## Hello, Girlcat! How are you doing? Yes, Ambien has been known to cause such problems as side effects in some people that take it. I suffered similar effects from it. Have you consulted your doctor? You might need to try a different medication. ## I have been getting these similar eye problems since taking ambien. It's not happening when I take it at night, it's the next day or night! It's hard to explain but it seems like when I look up, I get a dizzy feeling and everything gets blurry for a minute! It also seems to make my head hurt right between my eyes when this happens. Hi. I've currently stopped taking Depakote and I was wondering how long does it take for the side effects to go away mainly the eye floaters. ## Hello, ChickenMan! How are you? Are you sure they were due to the Depakote? Has this been confirmed by your doctor? It's not a side effect that's commonly reported by people taking it and, if it did cause them, it could be difficult to know how long it will take for them to clear up. How long have you been off of it? What are you taking instead?

Im taking tonic water with quinine for cramping in my feet and legs and it helps but I have to empty my bladder all the time and it hard to hold. ## Hi maggie, In my honest opinion the side effect list for Quinine is pretty nerve racking. And although I didn't see a mention of any bladder-related concerns, I do have reason to suspect that one or more other side effects of this drug may be indirectly causing it: nausea restlessness difficulty hearing or ringing in the ears confusion nervousness rash hives itching flushing hoarseness difficulty breathing or swallowing swelling of the face, throat, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles or lower legs fever blisters stomach pain vomiting diarrhea blurriness or changes in color vision inability to hear or see faintness easy bruising purple, bro...

I currently am using Trazodone HCL 150Mg for insomnia. I usually cut the dosage in half or in thirds and notice my eyes and vision seem to be affected. It is as if my eyes are really tired, blink a lot, and definitely irritated. I take no other meds except 25Mg of Metoprolol ER to slow a rapid heartbeat. I have been taking Metoprolol for many months with no side effects. I previously had been using 50MG of Trazodone and it was quite ineffective. My doctor increased the dosage to help me sleep. I do not notice anyone complaining of eye problems. The Mfr. of Trazodone is TEVA Pharm. ## Hello, Gloria! How are you? The FDA does list blurry vision among the possible side effects of Trazodone, but they don't specify how or why it causes it, so yes, your symptoms could possibly be due to t...

My wife has been taking Tramadol for 4 weeks for hip paint before hip replacement surgery next month. It worked fine for the pain. However, she has visoin problems. She is very light sensative and wears sunglasses and stays in rooms with blinds pulled. Her pupils appear over dialated and do not responde at the same speed to light (opening or closing). This has bothered her to the extent that she holds and moves her head in funny ways. She seems to be always trying to look down to keep light out of her eyes. Her head movements remind me of the way some blind people seem go constantly move their heads. She ahs tight and soar neck muscles. SHe hold thing very close to her eyes to see what they are.
