Pentastarch is a subgroup of hydroxyethyl starch, with five hydroxyethyl groups out of each 11 hydroxyls, giving it approximately 50% hydroxyethylation. This compares with tetrastarch at 40% and hetastarch at 70% hydroxyethylation, respectively. It is sold under the name Pentaspan and used for fluid resuscitation. will i have to live with it forever ## It really depends on what is causing it and what treatments are being used. What has your doctor said about it? You can learn more about the condition, treatment options and etc. here: ## I have cellulitis under the incision in my left breast. A redness began to appear a few weeks after the expande was placed but I was fine. A few weeks after my last filling my skin separated at the incision and cellulitis spread quickly. After 21 days of intravenous anibiotiotics there is no pain whatsoever but abcess wil not improve. Is there anyway I can keep this expander and try something else. Thank you.
