Dear Sir, i am using nexito 20 mg in India whose contents are escitalopram 20 mg (escitalopram oxalate IP) and asked for an alternate in Mauritius and iam suggested to go for Estop 20 mg which is similar. Can i go for the same. Pls advise so that i can discuss this drug with my doctor in India.

I have been taking this medicine for the last five days, but now I feel very disinterested in my work. I also feel drowsiness, anxiousness, etc. etc. Please suggest if I should continue taking the medicine? ## I am from j & k and suffering from the balance problem for the last four years. despite consulting neurologists, orthopedics, general physicians & despite of mri scanning of brain and cervical which turned normal, doctors prescribed me pain killers, gabapentin, methylcobalamin, betahistine, but of no use since last four years, now recently doctor prescribed me stalopram plus - one tab at bedtime - but it causes me drowsiness, uneasiness, disinterest in work, etc. etc. kindly advise me what shall I do now? ## Hi. my father takes the following medicine Oleanz RT 10(olanzapline), estopam-10(escitalopam oxalate tablets), cap. preganerve-m(Preagabalin with mecobalamin) he complains of heavy head and lays on bed all day.kindly suggest something to help in releif. ## Has he consulted his doctor? Generally, it's not recommended to try to treat possible side effects with another medication, because they all carry the risk of causing side effects, so you can just end up compounding the problem. The Olanzapine is an antipsychotic and it is well known to cause these types of side effects, so it may be the culprit.
