My sister takes take her tegretal and seroquel. Do these have a horrible impact upon each other? She seems like she's drunk all day. I believe it's the seroquel. I just want her to have some normalcy in her life and she definitely cant function like this. ## Hello, Laura! How is your sister doing? I'm glad you posted your concern, because she does need to speak to her doctor. She could be developing an issue with serotonin or something else, which has the potential to be dangerous. Normal side effects to Seroquel include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. How long has she been taking them? ## she just started taking the tegretol again about a month ago. Shes been on serequel since april. ## A month is long enough for it the serotonin to possibly be building up in her...

I'm on 100mg of pregabalin for epilepsy as I fit in my sleep.. just wanted to know if it's ok to drink alcohol well on pregabalin I'm not a big drinker only drink well on holiday like 2 to 3 drinks on a night I know it says don't drink alcohol on the box but most medicine say that can anyone help me plz as I'm going away in 16 day's thank you ## Hello, Claire! How are you? First, alcohol lowers your seizure threshold, so drinking if you have epilepsy is never a good idea. Second, alcohol can worsen the side effects of medications, so as listed by the FDA, you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than usual. Basically one drink may affect you the same as having 2 or 3 and so on. Thus, unless your doctor clears you to have a couple drinks, it would ...

Does the dose within the xr pill dispense equally over a twenty four hour period? I am concerned about daily peaks and valleys. I take dose in evening but at times due to work I'll take it a much as six hours earlier. Thanks ## Hello, Joe! How are you? Yes, that's how they are designed to work. However, the issue is that if you take one 6 hours earlier on Tuesday, then take the next on Wednesday 6 hours later, which is your regular time, you're not keeping the levels in your body consistent to prevent seizures. If you need to take it 6 hours earlier some days, due to your work schedule, then you should change the time you take it, so that you take it at the same time every day and prevent these unmediated gaps. Hello. I use prazepam every evening 10mg since 16 years to treat my partial epilepsy (they found I had it at last when I was 30!!!) for 26 years now and to treat some feelings of fear built up during a hard life. It is a low dose. I do not like high doses and it works fine. Now I moved to a country where I want to avoid going to a doctor who prescribes this and charge a fortune for it plus all the explanations I need to give etc. So here so a pharmacist told me about hydroxyzine tablets with a little valium in it will do the same for me. All my life I do not drink nor smoke nor use anything "wrong." I live healthy and exercise a lot. Please advise me now as I am running out of prazepam, if this can be ok for me to try? Thanks so much. ## Hello, Caro! How are you? There is no Val...
