I need to cut back on using fentnal 100 patch I have been on heavy dose for several years. I am using to much to stop pain. Afraid of serious withdraws. But have to show doc the right amount of meds at appointment. In any event, don't ever be afraid to tell your doctor how you really feel because it's your body not his, that may have to go through withdrawals in the end. hi i have been on these patches for 4 months now but i still have pain ## Have you consulted your doctor? Do you have any medications for breakthrough pain? Usually, for proper pain management, something long acting like the Fentanyl is used and then some that works immediately, or a regular release medication, is also given for those times the pain is too much for the long acting medication to completely control. ## I am on 25mcgs of fentynal patches every 72 hours, plus 10/325 pecocet 1 every 4-6 hours for BT pain.The Percocet doesn't do much, and is very similar to my previous prescription of Norco and the patch isn't strong enough and runs out after 48 hours. Fentanyl is the most potent opiate available, so you'd actually need several hundred milligrams of Oxycodone to equal a 100mcg patch and you can't take enough Percocet to be equal to it. Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, you'd overdose, especially on the Acetaminophen, before you ever reached the same level of efficacy. Even if you tried to space it over 2 days, as you would the patch. Details about phenadrine... ## Are you asking about the supplement Phenadrine, that's supposed to help with energy and weight loss? Since it's an over the counter product, there are really no details to provide, they aren't tested and proven effective like prescription medications. From what I've found so far, this company doesn't even list the ingredients, they just say it's a proprietary formulation, though they may be listed on the packaging. For four years, I've taken 100mg of Gabapentin (one capsule) along with 0.50mg of Ropinirole (two pills) at night only for Restless Leg Syndrome. I am 76 years old. There were times when I felt that I really could, maybe even should have increased, as directed but I just hate taking any kind of medicines and finally, it felt more ok enough to not increase. So, I did not. Now, I would like to get off of all of it but since the Gabapentin is one capsule, how I can taper off from that one? I can go down slowly on the Ropinirole by taking only one tablet each night as each one is .25mg but I do not know how I can cut the Gabapentin capsule with the powder medicine inside in half. My Dr switched me from 37.5 mg of Effexor to 100 mg of Zoloft. I told him Effexor made me tired. So he says Zoloft should make me have more energy. I was down to 37.5 Effexor from 75mg because I was trying to wean off. Now I feel like I am on a higher dosage than I was before. Plus I've gained weight. I don't feel anymore energetic either. What is the minimum dose for a small inflammation of the thumb. I have taken it four days now and I am intermittently nauseous which is relieved by eating. I am 70 and have been taking Eptoin 100mg and Tegretol 100mg ai bed time since 1976. Recentlly I checked my blood for lever enzymes. SGOT 197 SGPT 213 GGTP(kinetic) 91 Alpkaline Phosphate 130 Should I reduce or stop these medication. ## I am in India. I was asked to take these 2 after I suffered from fits immediately after my heart surgery in 1975. I have no fits for the last 16 years. Some suggested that I may not need these now as I have over come the fits. Recently I had echogram done for the heart along with specific blood test when the excess lever enzmes were deteted.

Is this normal? ## Hi Mary, Interestingly enough, "extreme tiredness or weakness" is in-fact listed as a severe side effect of Doxycycline. In such cases, it is recommended that you contact your doctor immediately to help address this issue. A small round tablet, peach colour (might also be considered pink or light-orange), with no score mark on either side, imprinted on one side with '100' and on the other side with 'novo'. I believe this description is a match for "DOXYCYCLINE" (Doxycycline-Hyclate) - one of several prophylactic medications prescribed when entering a malaria endemic area. This dosage is usually taken once each day, starting one day before entering the a malaria area, and continuing daily throughout and for four weeks after departure.
